Direct measurements of the trilinear gauge boson couplings by the CDF and D0 collaborations at Fermilab are reviewed. Limits on the anomalous couplings were obtained at a 95% CL from four diboson production processes: W[gamma] production with the subsequent W boson decay to e[nu] or [mu][nu], WW production with both the W boson decaying to e[nu] or [mu][nu], WW/WZ production with one of the gauge bosons decaying leptonically and the other gauge boson decaying to two jets, and Z[gamma] production with the subsequent Z boson decay to ee, [mu][mu], or [nu][nu]. Limits were also obtained by a combined fit to W[gamma], WW→dileptons and WW/WZ semileptonic data samples.
Direct measurements of vector boson pair production processes and trilinear gauge boson couplings have been conducted by the CDF and D0 Collaborations. Preliminary results from searches for anomalous WW/WZ [yields] [mu][nu] jet jet and WZ [yields] eee[nu] production are presented. 95% CL anomalous coupling limits from previously published D0 results are -0.20
Results from the CDF and D{O} experiments are presented on properties of the W" and Z° gauge bosons using final states containing electrons and muons based on large integrated luminosities. In particular, measurements of the W" and Z° production cross sections, the W-charge asymmetry and the CDF measurement of the W-mass are summarized. Gauge boson self interactions axe measured by studying di-gauge boson production and limits on anomalous gauge boson couplings axe discussed.
Here we summarize the recent measurements of the diboson production cross sections and limits on trilinear gauge boson couplings using 1-5 fb−1 of Tevatron data collected by the CDF and D0 detectors. These results are the most precise to date from a hadron collider.
Recent results from the CDF and D0 Experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider are presented for the W and Z boson production cross sections, the W boson width, rare W boson decays, trilinear gauge boson couplings, and the W boson mass.
An overview of recent electroweak physics results from the Tevatron is given. Properties of the W{sup {+-}} and Z° gauge bosons using final states containing electrons and muons based on large integrated luminosities are presented. In particular, measurements of the W{sup {+-}} and Z° production cross sections, the W-charge asymmetry and the measurement of the W-mass are summarized. Gauge boson self interactions are measured by studying gauge boson pair production and Emits on anomalous gauge boson couplings are discussed.
The authors present recent results from CDF and D0 on W and Z production cross sections, the width of the W boson, [tau]-e universality in W decays, trilinear gauge boson couplings, and on the observation of Z[r[underscore]arrow] b[anti b].
The search for WW and WZ production in p[anti p] collisions at[radical]s= 1.8 TeV using the CDF and D0 detectors is presented. Three analyses, one concentrating on the leptons+ jets decay channels and two concentrating on the dilepton decay channels are described in detail. Limits on anomalous WW[gamma] and WWZ trilinear gauge boson couplings are presented. Prospects for further study of diboson production and anomalous couplings with the Upgraded Tevatron are also presented.
A summary is presented of recent measurements of di-boson production at the Tevatron. The results from the CDF and D0 experiments are based upon 130-320 pb{sup -1} of p{bar p} collisions at {radical}s = 1.96 TeV. The W{gamma}, Z{gamma}, WW, and WZ production properties are compared to Standard Model predictions, and limits extracted for anomalous triple gauge couplings.
