It aims to be "the encyclopedia of library science," and this volume is the first to appear. As the series pattern decrees, this volume presents a brief history of the development of microcopying, followed by a survey of the literature on the subject. The chapter entitled "Summary and Suggestions for Further Study" is intriguing, and the references are helpful.
