"When Dom's class is taken to hear a concert at Carnegie Hall, she expects to be bored out of her mind. But then she sees the boy in the front row, playing violin like his life depends on it--and she is transfixed. Posing as an NYU student, Dom sneaks back to New York City to track down Ben Tristan, a magnetic genius who whisks her out of her limited life in New Jersey and into a fantasy world of jazz clubs and opera, infatuation and possibility. As Dom's web of lies grows, though, so does Ben's manic need to conquer Beethoven's famously intense Kreutzer Sonata. But Ben's genius, which captivates Dom, conceals a much darker truth, and the facts of her own life will make it impossible for Dom to help him"--Provided by publisher.
Someday, Somewhere is a compilation of sixty-eight paired original photographs and poems. Each photograph is paired with a poem written for and inspired by its photograph. The book deals with common themes of the human condition—love and loss, belief and doubt, joy and sadness. Working within the confines of rhyme and meter, the poetry is written to be appreciated by readers who share the matters of humanity.
Structured like a sonata, this heartbreaking debut novel hits all the right notes. Dominique is a high school junior from gritty Trenton, barely getting by. Ben is a musical prodigy from the Upper East Side, a rising star at a top conservatory. When Dom’s class is taken to hear a concert at Carnegie Hall, she spots Ben in the front row, playing violin like his life depends on it — and she is transfixed. Posing as an NYU student, Dom sneaks back to New York City to track him down. Soon, the two are desperately in love, each seeing something in the other to complete them. But Ben’s genius, which Dominique so admires, conceals his struggle with mental illness — and the challenges of her own life may make it impossible for her to save him from himself.
These poems come from the past adventures of my life, and made to help inspire others that there is a better way to see a more positive outlook on everyday life.

The issue of men and how we express ourselves on what is really going on within us, is a conversation that is not widespread enough. We have not been taught how to express ourselves. By contrast, everything we observe and experience teach us to keep a lid on our feelings, just keep it inside. The need for us to express how we feel to those who matter most to us, is critical to the constructive development of the next generation. This book is a contribution to that discussion. The contents are just a small part of what is necessary to make a meaningful difference, but it is my contribution to the process. The book recounts part of my journey, and includes the expression of my emotions to my friend, lover and confidant. As you join me on this journey, please realize that while keeping emotions to yourself, may keep you safe and minimize harm, youll never truly experience love by following this path. True Love does not exist without vulnerability. There is no single philosophy of the pertinent issues, always leaving much more to be said. There are so many more discussions to be started. It is important for readers to get engaged and add their voices to the discussion. Too many elect to remain silent, choosing to withhold and not give vent to experiences. This may keep us in our comfort zone, but it negatively impacts our love ones and the ones coming after us in the society. When we fail to share the benefit of our experience, young people inevitably repeat the mistakes of the past. Thank you for taking the journey with me. I hope and pray, that I will help you begin, or renew your commitment to expressing your feelings to those who matter most in your life. Brothers, let us begin the discussion with those in our family circle - parents, siblings, spouse, off spring. Start spending 1-on-1 time with them, do things together, play sports, go fishing, hiking, watch a movie or just read together. Find common interests, and not merely start the conversation, keep it going. Do not allow the silence to continue.
