The main purpose of this paper is to provide a method of multi-criteria decision-making that combines simplified neutrosophic linguistic sets and normalized Bonferroni mean operator to address the situations where the criterion values take the form of simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers and the criterion weights are known.
Firstly, the new operations and comparison method for simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers are defined and some linguistic scale functions are employed. Subsequently, a Bonferroni mean operator and a normalized weighted Bonferroni mean operator of simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers are developed, in which some desirable characteristics and special cases with respect to the parameters p and q in Bonferroni mean operator are studied.
Neutrosophic set, initiated by Smarandache, is a novel tool to deal with vagueness considering the truth-membership T, indeterminacy-membership I and falsity-membership F satisfying the condition 0 ≤ T + I + F ≤ 3. It can be used to characterize the uncertain information more sufficiently and accurately than intuitionistic fuzzy set. Neutrosophic set has attracted great attention of many scholars that have been extended to new types and these extensions have been used in many areas such as aggregation operators, decision making, image processing, information measures, graph and algebraic structures.
In this article, we expand the Muirhead mean (MM) operator and dual Muirhead mean (DMM) operator with single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic numbers (SVN2TLNs) to propose the single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic Muirhead mean (SVN2TLMM) operator, the single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic weighted Muirhead mean (SVN2TLWMM) operator, the single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic dual Muirhead mean (SVN2TLDMM) operator, and the single-valued neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic weighted dual Muirhead mean (SVN2TLWDMM) operator. Multiple attribute decision making (MADM) methods are then proposed using these operators. Finally, we utilize an applicable example for green supplier selection in green supply chain management to prove the proposed methods.

This book treats all kind of data in neutrosophic environment, with real-life applications, approaching topics as linear programming problem, linear fractional programming, integer programming, triangular neutrosophic numbers, single valued triangular neutrosophic number, neutrosophic optimization, goal programming problem, Taylor series, multi-objective programming problem, neutrosophic geometric programming, neutrosophic topology, neutrosophic open set, neutrosophic semi-open set, neutrosophic continuous function, cylindrical skin plate design, neutrosophic MULTIMOORA, alternative solutions, decision matrix, ratio system, reference point method, full multiplicative form, ordinal dominance, standard error, market research, and so on. The selected papers deal with the alleviation of world changes, including changing demographics, accelerating globalization, rising environmental concerns, evolving societal relationships, growing ethical and governance concern, expanding the impact of technology; some of these changes have impacted negatively the economic growth of private firms, governments, communities, and the whole society.
This paper presents a new correlation coefficient measure, which satisfies the requirement of this measure equaling one if and only if two interval neutrosophic sets (INSs) are the same.
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in neutrosophic theory, and there are several methods for solving various problems under neutrosophic environment. However, a few papers have discussed the Data envelopment analysis (DEA) with neutrosophic sets. So, in this paper, we propose an input-oriented DEA model with simplified neutrosophic numbers and present a new strategy to solve it. The proposed method is based on the weighted arithmetic average operator and has a simple structure. Finally, the new approach is illustrated with the help of a numerical example.
The aggregation operator is one of the most common techniques to solve multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems. The aim of this paper is to propose an MCDM method based on the improved single-valued neutrosophic weighted geometric (ISVNWG) operator. First, the defects of several existing single-valued neutrosophic weighted geometric aggregation operators in terms of producing uncertain results in some special cases are analyzed. Second, an ISVNWG operator is proposed to avoid the defects of existing operators. Further, the properties of the proposed ISVNWG operator, including idempotency, boundedness, monotonicity, and commutativity, are discussed. Finally, a single-valued neutrosophic MCDM method based on the developed ISVNWG operator is proposed to overcome the defects of existing MCDM methods based on existing operators. Application examples demonstrate that our proposed operator and corresponding MCDM method are effective and rational for avoiding uncertain results in some special cases.
In recent years, hesitant fuzzy sets (HFSs) and neutrosophic sets (NSs) have become a subject of great interest for researchers and have been widely applied to multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems.
