Simon married Mary L. Tusing 21 December 1843. Mary was the daughter of Johann Adam Tusing and Lydia C. Barb. Simon and Mary lived in Shenandoah Co., Virginia and were the parents of two sons and one daughter. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina and elsewhere.
Charles Woolverton emigrated from England sometime before 1693 and settled in New Jersey. He married Mary in about 1697. They had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
