Sermons on the Seven Deadly Sins and the Different Sins Against God and Our Neighbor which Flow Therefrom - Volume Two is a collection of sermons written by Reverend Father Francis Hunolt around the topic of human sin. Hunolt does not deal directly with the seven deadly sins in the second volume of this collection, but rather various other sins that are related to Christianity's capital vices. The book is formatted as a series of sermons, intended to be delivered by priests during Sunday and holiday services. In all, the book contains thirty-eight sermons. Topics include ingratitude, neglect of divine grace, disgracing the season of shrove tide, sins against our neighbors, wicked tongues, cursing and swearing, and other sins of the tongue, among others. Each sermon is introduced with a brief overview of the subject discussed, as well as a reference to the scripture that should be read to accompany the sermon. The book concludes with an extremely detailed index of both the subjects addressed and the sermons included. Hunolt's book is an extensive discussion of Christian sins. The sermons themselves are compelling and draw appropriately from Bible verses as well as real world examples to formulate their arguments. Hunolt is clearly an experienced preacher, and the power of his words translates well to text. Preachers looking for inspiration and individuals who enjoy religious literature will certainly find this book to be worthy of their time. Sermons on the Seven Deadly Sins - Volume Two is a unique book, and a worthy addition to the library of any Christian who speaks publically about the foundations of the faith.
