It is becoming increasingly important to design and develop adaptive, robust, scalable, reliable, security and privacy mechanisms for IoT applications and for Industry 4.0 related concerns. This book serves as a useful guide for researchers and industry professionals and will help beginners to learn the basics to the more advanced topics. Aim of this dissertation is to provide organizations with a model and an application approach to configure their knowledge intensive processes with the functionalities offered by collaborative technologies. The model is structured into three segments: - attributes of knowledge intensive processes - functionalities of collaborative technologies - configurations of knowledge intensive processes and collaborative technologies The model is validated within three industrial case studies.
This book constitutes extended, revised and selected papers from the 22nd International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems, ICEIS 2020, held online during May 5-7, 2020.
