Paperback, Color Edition: The Class of 1971, Minersville Area High School, Minersville, PA, gathered for their 50th class reunion on Sep 18th, 2021. Amazingly, approximately 50% of the surviving members attended, and the class honored the 32 class members who passed away...gone, but not forgotten! The 55 classmates and their spouses & guests (Total of 80 folks) met outside on a beautiful sunny summer day at the South Cass Fire Company picnic grounds. A life event like this does not just "happen." The 50th took about 18 months to plan and execute, starting in Jan 2020 with a 1971 Minersville Class Facebook page, and a series of Zoom calls open to all class members. Key committee members were Fran Murphy, (Class President), Jim Droskinis,(Class Salutatorian / 50th Reunion coordinator), Bob Plesnarski, Dale Woodford, Rich Laychock, Rose Ann Petrusky, Joe Rutecki, and Robin Parker. All pictures were contributed by class members and are considered public domain. Great photographers! This album is a beautiful memo for all to see how this Schuylkill County, PA class bonded, and had a blast a half century from their graduation. The smiles on their faces from this joyous occasion will prove worth the cost of this paperback. Like this style? Droskinis authored two other books on Amazon: "UNDEFEATED UNTIED UNSCORED UPON", and "Rich Hoppe:TALES OF THE LAST BARNSTORMER".
