This publication contains information about the Committee's meeting in July 2004 which discussed the diversity in practices of the establishment and management of fish aggregating devices (FADs) and agreed there was a need for more co-operation and exchanges on moored FAD fishing at the subregional level to ensure sustainability in the exploitation of the shared fish resources.
