Excerpt from Report of the State Librarian for the Biennial Period Ending June 30, 1938, and Including a Biennial Report for the Period Ending June 30, 1936 Inasmuch as my predecessor in office, Honorable Johnson Brig ham, State Librarian, was incapacitated for a long time prior to his decease on October 8, 1936, and no report for the biennial period beginning July 1, 1934 and ending June 30, 1936 was drafted or filed; I have taken the liberty, in order that the entire life of the Library may be covered by proper reports, with the assistance of the Librarians in charge, who have served under both Mr. Brigham and myself, of compiling a report for the biennial period above mentioned.
