D. 1881 I am also pleased to be able to report that much interest is manifested in the Bodies of the Rite by the members generally, that the increase of members has been large and of the very best kind, that peace and harmony prevail, and that there has been marked progress in the manner of conferring the different Degrees. The Rose Croix Chapter has not progressed as fast as the Lodge of Perfection, partly Owing to the short time the Bodies have been in operation, and partly owing to the neglect Of his duties by the Secretary.
