This book is the outcome of a workshop held at Park City, Utah, 23-25 May, 1984. It is a collection of papers focusing focuses on physics of precipitation formation in clouds and the response of clouds to glaciogenic seeding. Critical Issues in Weather Modification Research examines the status of the science underlying weather modification in the United States. It calls for a coordinated national research program to answer fundamental questions about basic atmospheric processes and to address other issues that are impeding progress in weather modification.
