A review of recent articles indicates that the effectiveness of simulation on Vocational Education has been substantiated. Many programs have been used throughout the United States which point out the success of office simulation. Utah began simulation by converting trailers into mobile modern offices. The first class was taught in June, 1968, with a migrant farm worker project. The program was called MOE (Mobile Office Education). Hanson and Stocker were involved in the development and teaching of this program. They explain their ideas about a successful and effective simulation program: It is a real organization of students formed under the direction of the teacher which carries on integrated office functions--correspondence, order processing, payroll, and other duties--at a level of intensity and in a facility which correspond very closely to those of a typical business office .
