My purpose for writing this book is to find out who I really am. It helps to inspire the true me from a spiritual and a personal point of view. I asked the question Who am I? After sixty-one years of life, I know the answer. Despite, lifes obstaclesthey were put there for a reason, or should I say, many reasons. I have learned to go through, around, about, or below, but I never got stuck during trying times. Obstacles are the opposite of opportunity, but both have challenges. I feel that my truth through these poems that saved my soul can be of help to someone regardless what their situation(s) maybe. Staying divinely focused, positive, and open-minded emulates your lifes true purpose.
Recovering the Lost Art of Contentment The biblical practice of contentment can seem like a lost art—something reserved for spiritual giants but out of reach for the rest of us. In our discontented age—characterized by impatience, overspending, grumbling, and unhappiness—it’s hard to imagine what true contentment actually looks (and feels) like. But even the apostle Paul said that he learned to be content in any and every circumstance. Paul’s remarkable contentment was something grown and developed over time. In Chasing Contentment, Erik Raymond helps us understand what biblical contentment is—the inward gracious spirit that joyfully rests in God’s providence—and then how we learn it. Giving us practical guidance for growing in contentment in various areas of our lives, this book will encourage us to see contentment as a priority for all believers. By God’s grace, it is possible to pursue the high calling of contentment and anchor our joy in God himself rather than our changing circumstances.
“The vividness and beauty of the language emerge in a fresh way . . . with evocative simplicity.” —Robert Alter, professor emeritus of Hebrew and comparative literature, University of California, Berkeley The world’s greatest poetry resides in the Bible, yet these major poets are traditionally rendered into prose. In this pioneering volume of biblical poets translated in English, Willis Barnstone restores the lyricism and power of the poets’ voices in both the New and Old Testaments. In the Hebrew Bible we hear Solomon rhapsodize in Song of Songs, David chant in Psalms, God and Job debate in grand rhetoric, and prophet poet Isaiah plead for peace. Jesus speaks in wisdom verse in the Gospel, Paul is a philosopher of love, and John of Patmos roars majestically in Revelation, the Bible’s epic poem. This groundbreaking volume includes every major biblical poem from Genesis and Adam and Eve in the Garden to the last pages of Alpha and Omega in Paradise.
Find what you’ve never had. Rediscover what you’ve lost. Peace for the Journey. A collection of fifty-two biblical meditations to deepen your intimacy with Jesus. Includes study questions for personal and/or small-group reflection.

In Volume II of John O'Loughlin's collected supernotational philosophy project, he has combined the titles 'Critique of Post-Dialectical Idealism', 'Philosophical Truth', 'Veritas Philosophicus', and 'Last Judgements', which span the period 1989–93 and have allowed him to bring some kind of strict chronology to bear on a series of writings dubbed 'supernotational', to distinguish them from essays on the one hand and aphorisms on the other, thereby treading a kind of intermediate position between essays and aphorisms in the interests of what became a gradual progression towards an enhanced sense of philosophical logic commensurate, so we believe, with 'Supertruth' and, ultimately, a kind of plateau of aphoristic purism which took shape in the ensuing years. – A Centretruths Editorial
