Peter Sundwall was born in 1848 in Sweden. He had joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and in 1872 he changed his name from Peter Olofsson to Peter Sundwall and came to America. Later Anna Cajso Larsson Johannesson who he had known in Sweden came to Utah and they were married. They had six children, one was adopted. One son, Olof, married Martha Nyvall, the daughter of John William Nyvall and Clara Kaliff Nyvall, Swedish immigrants who had came to Kansas and were Lutherans. Sketches of the descendants of these families are iincluded in this material. Many descendants have remained in Utah while others live in Kansas, Texas, California and elsewhere.
