Have you ever thought about completely changing your life? Maybe circumstances have changed, or maybe you are bored with things the way they are. Whatever the reason, you feel the need for a change. But unlike Mr. and Mrs. Kettlepan, few of us have the chance to make big changes in our lives. Author Sally Parker Frizzell's The Amazing Adventures of the Kettlepans and Their Animal Friends is the story of a New York City couple who, tired of the hubbub of the city, remake their lives. They move to a farm in New Hampshire and soon discover the farmhouse isn't exactly their dream home. With the farmhouse in need of major repairs inside and out, they live in an RV while work is being done. They find wild animals popping up and causing problems around the house. These aren't ordinary animals, though. They can talk and drive. But it's not just the animals that take them by surprise. One day without warning, the former owners cause a scare when they show up as ghosts while the Kettlepans are in the house. Another day, carpenters uncover a long-kept secret as they rip out walls. The Amazing Adventures of the Kettlepans and Their Animal Friends takes you on a journey of mystery, excitement, and fun. This isn't your ordinary farm!
If you feel you really love animals, this book is for you. If you feel how much your animals love you, this book is for you. Our feelings profoundly affect the health of our animals as well as our own health - physically, emotionally, mentally and Spiritually. When we Heal these feelings by Feeling the Love We Already Are, tremendous, life-changing events occur. Our animals health is dramatically improved, as is our own. We are tremendously powerful creators of our own reality, and by turning to Feeling the Love We Already Are, we can help create Health for our animals, for ourselves, for Earth and this Universe we all live in together. Ultimately, surrendering to the Love We Are is the most Healing of all, and the most Healing for all. Through stories, examples, metaphysical and Spiritual messages and exercises, this book explores how to help Heal our animals and ourselves. As free will beings, we are able, with the help of God, to Heal. This is true for our animals as well as for each of us. In this time of Earth Changes and Natures Healing, the animals are Healing too. As are we all, if we so choose.
OUR animal friends are usually supposed to be included in the home pets, and the domestic animals which are useful to us in so many ways; but when we learn how closely some of the wildest and fiercest of animals are of the greatest benefit to mankind, how they resemble us in the formation of their bodies, and in the care and love for their little ones, how the many different kinds of animals scattered all over the world are related to each other, and how they are divided into families, we will have a more friendly feeling toward all the wonderful creatures which are often looked upon as the enemies of mankind, and a greater interest in their habits and lives in their native homes. In this little volume of Natural History we will not only study our animal friends as individuals, but will learn of their relationship to each other, carefully arranged and classified, but much more easily understood, than the classification found in the numerous great volumes of encyclopedia of Natural History. We are always interested in the relatives of our human friends; even their distant relations living in far off countries soon have a special interest for us when they are closely connected to our friends, and we are constantly learning of their manner of living and their doings in distant lands. In the same manner we find new interest in the fierce wild animals of other countries when we learn how they are related to our domestic animals and home pets. We find that not only the Wild Cats, but the fierce Lions, Tigers, Panthers, Leopards, Lynxes, Pumas, Jaguars, and many smaller animals, belong to the same family as our pet Cats. The Wolf, Jackal, Hyena, and many different kinds of Foxes are all closely related to our good friends, the Dogs. The Sheep and Cows have some very fierce relations in distant countries, as the Gnu and Yak and Bison, and also some very accommodating and useful relations, like the Camel, Dromedary, Llama and Paca, who are as helpful to their masters and owners as the domestic animals of this country. We would not suppose at first thought that our Horses belong to the same family as the Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus, Elephant, and the Tapir and many smaller animals which are classified with them, besides the different kinds of Ponies, Donkeys, and the Dauw and Quagga and Zebra.
This is a psychosexual thriller involving two detectives and their personal relationships. Detective Abby Kane and Detective Dean Frost search for a serial killer who stakes his victims while trying to keep their wayward wives, Kara and Rayna in line. The two women are very close friends and quite troublesome. It is difficult at times for the detectives to try to balance their personal lives using consensual spanking with their spouses and solve a murder case but they manage until it's a race against time to save Kara and Rayna. How is it possible that they could both be in danger at the same time in two different places?

Sarah-Jane Le Blanc grew up with no particular interest in animals. A down-to-earth mother of two with a job working with disadvantaged children, other people's pets didn't feature very highly in her thoughts - until an event in 2005 which changed the direction of her life. Over the course of several evenings, just before going to sleep, Sarah Jane kept getting a clear image in her mind of a dog called Dan, who had a sad story and was trying to contact someone. This experience led her to investigate animal/human communication. From taking on her first 'client' - a claustrophobic horse - Sarah-Jane's skills went from strength to strength. She soon realised she had a rare gift for animal 'clairsentience', being able to detect the emotions and past traumas of those who cannot speak, and to heal them with her thoughts. Sarah-Jane tells her amazing story of how she became a real-life Doctor Dolittle. She uses what she calls 'soul-to-soul' therapy, which has helped countless pets and their owners resolve problems. Sarah-Jane's message is that animals suffer emotional pain and anxiety, just like we do. Her work proves that we can reach out across the species to communicate with the creatures that share our lives, as they too, can help us to heal ourselves.
The Cat and Co. take off to the faraway land of Gerpletz where they know quite a lot about caring for pets—especially cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, and bunnies! From the food, shelter, exercise, and medical care they need to the love and companionship they crave, the Cat teaches beginning readers how to keep their pets (and themselves!) healthy, safe, and happy.
