OR several years it has been a source of earnest inquiry from correspondents in every quarter of the globe, whether punch from its commencement could not be had at a price within reach of persons of moderate means. It is urged that, extending as it does over a period of twenty years; embracing as it were a complete History of the Times; and illustrating with rare fidelity the various social and political changes of the period, punch' forms a valuable work of reference as well as amusement. But to those especially to whom the early years of punch are unknown, its re-publication at a moderate price would be most acceptable. The Proprietors, influenced by.
