Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters BCI (WoS). Special Topic Volume entitled Operation and Diagnostics of Machines and Production Systems Operational States II is focused on the operation, technology and diagnostics of operational states of machines and manufacturing systems. The topic covers research fields that are mainly solved at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies of Technical University of Košice with a seat in Prešov for long period of time. Dealing with such kind of research is necessarily associated with high theoretical demands, so authors would like to disseminate achieved knowledge in research, educational and entrepreneurial areas.
This volume is part of collection of contributions devoted to analytical and experimental techniques of dynamical systems, presented at the 15th International Conference “Dynamical Systems: Theory and Applications”, held in Łódź, Poland on December 2-5, 2019. The wide selection of material has been divided into three volumes, each focusing on a different field of applications of dynamical systems. The broadly outlined focus of both the conference and these books includes bifurcations and chaos in dynamical systems, asymptotic methods in nonlinear dynamics, dynamics in life sciences and bioengineering, original numerical methods of vibration analysis, control in dynamical systems, optimization problems in applied sciences, stability of dynamical systems, experimental and industrial studies, vibrations of lumped and continuous systems, non-smooth systems, engineering systems and differential equations, mathematical approaches to dynamical systems, and mechatronics.
This book presents the current situation in measurement and analysis of vibrations in production systems with the usage of water jet technology, focusing on sieve analysis and its principle of functioning. The authors compare the sizes of vibration accelerations amplitude with and without the usage of a narrow grain fraction. The data collection and frequency spectrum analysis presented form the basis for further research in this area. It is designed for researchers, educated public, students and university teachers with a technical focus on monitoring and diagnostics of technical equipment.
The book presents practical examples of troubleshooting tools applied in real technological processes. The content is useful for technicians, engineers, or maintenance professionals involved in setting up technical systems and reliable operation of rotary machines. The book presents various proactive maintenance methods, exploring how they can be applied to enhance the reliability and efficiency of technical systems. The importance of technical diagnostics is highlighted, offering valuable insights into the process of identifying and analyzing potential issues. The measurement and assessment of vibrations in technical systems are examined. Moreover, the book covers assessing the condition of systems through the study of friction, lubrication, and wear. The application of technical diagnostics tools in reductors' test operation is also detailed. In the concluding section, readers will find a thoughtful synthesis of the key concepts discussed throughout the book.
