On the Prussian Infantry 1869 is the second of two controversial titles penned by a Prussian infantry officer, Captain Theodor May, that challenged the Prussian military establishment in the wake of the Campaign against Austria in 1866. In 2006 Helion reprinted the author's first title, The Prussian Campaign of 1866, a Tactical Retrospect. In 2009, Helion reprinted Moltke's official reply, A Reply to the Prussian Campaign of 1866.
