Occultism is the practice of occult disciplines, including extra-sensory perception, spiritualism, religion, astrology, magic, alchemy, and divination. Occultism and its concepts are part of the belief structures of philosophies and religions. After founding a newspaper in Atlanta, Georgia, and engaging in journalism in New York, he went to England and joined the London Daily Mail. Later on, he became a free-lance writer and a prolific author. Many of his books explored Canadian history and issues. He also served as a senior officer with the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
