Twelve-year-old Owen Turney died on October 24th, 2010, of unknown causes. No Ordinary Boy is Jennifer Johannesen's extraordinary story of her profoundly disabled son, his family, his caregivers and his doctors. It is a sharply evocative, sometimes humorous, never sentimental chronicle-not only of perpetual crisis management, crushing disappointments and dashed hopes, but also one of love, spiritual growth, self-understanding, acceptance and maturity.
NO ORDINARY BOY is the suspense-filled story of twelve-year-old Yeshua in first-century Palestine as he faces a ferocious wild beast and thwarts two notorious bandits' plans to kidnap the rabbi's young sons.

Accompanied by the pretty blonde Maggie, a girl he rescued, they experienced hardship and danger in the hands of thugs and violent criminals. A retelling of the Arthurian legends, adapted and illustrated to introduce children aged 7+ to classic folklore.
This monograph is the third and last volume of the critical edition of the linguistic papers of Ivan Poldauf, a prominent Czech linguist and lexicographer, the founder of English Studies at Palacký University Olomouc, and later a professor at Charles University in Prague. Ivan Poldauf (15 September 1915 – 9 August 1984) was an Anglicist and a Bohemist whose scope of interests was incredibly broad, ranging from theoretical linguistics (his works cover all levels of language representation) to applied linguistics. The third volume comprises his works published in English, covering 34 years of his career between 1950 and 1984.
A hilarious new series that proves superpowers are no match for brainpower. In the town of Superopolis, everyone has a superpower. Everyone, that is, except Ordinary Boy. He's–well, he's pretty much ordinary. But that won't stop him from taking on supervillains like the sinister Professor Brain–Drain.... This spring, welcome to Superopolis and The Extraordinary Adventures of Ordinary Boy, a clever, funny new series for kids who've outgrown Captain Underpants or anyone who loves The Incredibles and The Tick. Packed with dynamic illustrations and starring a smart young hero who could hold his own with Charlie Bone, Klaus Baudelaire, and Stanley Yelnats, this is a series that kids will find undeniably super!
