In the quaint mountain town of Windamere, North Carolina, the three Sargent sisters are determined to make their hotel and winery, Chateau Jolie, a success. And one by one, they’re finding that nothing pairs better with new beginnings than unexpected love… The downside of living in a charming small town is that it’s impossible for Brooke Sargent to avoid anyone. Especially someone as big, handsome, and friendly as Trevor Bradley. At his brother’s wedding, they flirted and danced…before Brooke recalled that she’s not ready to trust any man after her divorce, let alone one who’s the competition. Her family’s struggling chateau is planning to host the local senior prom—without the Bradley family’s renowned Honeywilde Inn muscling in and stealing the glory. Trevor has thought of no one else since the night he and Brooke connected. Even though she shot him down—hard—he’s seen the warmth beneath her guarded facade. Working together, they could give the high school students a spectacular prom. Navigating the rough terrain of Brooke’s business, while proving himself to his own siblings, won’t be easy. But Trevor loves a challenge—especially one that could win him the woman he can’t stop wanting . . . NO ONE LIKE YOU

Many contemporary theologians claim that the classical picture of God painted by Augustine and Aquinas is both outmoded and unbiblical. But rather than abandoning the traditional view completely, John Feinberg seeks a reconstructed model—one that reflects the ongoing advances in human understanding of God's revelation while recognizing the unchanging nature of God and His Word. Feinberg begins by exploring the contemporary concepts of God, particularly the openness and process views, and then studies God's being, nature, and acts—all to articulate a mediating understanding of God not just as the King, but the King who cares! Part of the Foundations of Evangelical Theology series.
Weddings are often the happiest day of a couple's life. At least for the bride it is. It's all about her. The bride has the chance to get all dolled up, be waited on hand and foot, then walk down the aisle looking like the beautiful princess that her daddy always told her she was. Now the bride being the main focus of attention is no problem to me at all. It's when we leave the wedding and go into marriage still thinking "It's still all about me." In wedding vows we promise to stay together "Til death do us part" but as for a relationship with God, until death, we are apart. Sin separates us from God. I've finally learned that to live in Christ we must die to ourselves. In marriage, we must die to many of our own desires and live for our spouses. When we live for God, He will show us how to live for our spouses. When we live selfishly we will always be craving for more but when we live selflessly, God will see to it that our needs are always supplied and our desires are satisfied. God will always see to it that you reap what you sow. In sharing some of my own experiences and what I've learned, I pray that I can sow seeds of hope into the lives of others. This book is to show my journey towards building a relationship with God. As you will see, I too have lived in sin. We were all born into sin. Fortunately, God gives us free will to choose to continue living in sin or die to sin and receive new life in Him.
Lord, no one loves me like You. No one comforts me like You. No one shelters me like You. There is no one, there is no one like You. Lord, no one can give me peace but You. No one can give me hope but You. No one can give me strength but You. There is no one, there is no one like You. Lord, no one is a friend like You. No one could save me from sin but You. No one believes in me like You. There is no one, there is no one like You. At some point in life, everyone has their faith tested. At those times we need hope, inspiration, and strength. The poems in It’s All About You spring from such moments in the author’s life and offer that much needed encouragement. Readers are introduced, or re-introduced, to God, as Creator, Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Holy Spirit, and given guidance on how to live a spirit-filled life. Poems address topics that affect us all, such as relationships and self-worth, death and grief, victories and defeats. It’s All About You is intended for a young adult and adult Christian readership.
