The law because they do not wish to offend their professional brethren. It is useless to say that such an excuse is puerile, and unworthy one who has assumed the duties of the office with the implied agreement that he will perform all the duties required of him. If he fails to do his duty he ought to be superseded at once by one who has the courage to require compliance with all the duties per taining to the position.
