The Qumru are a peaceful alien race. They are advanced spacefaring people who never interfere with other alien races and try to avoid hostile races such as the Yoyka. For the past two centuries the two races have left each other alone in peace. This changed suddenly when the Yoyka attacked Qum without warning with a new nanotech terror weapon. The weapon was made of semi-intelligent nanomachines that are contagious upon contact. The nanomachines are designed to only attack a specific race based on their genome DNA. The nanomachines replicate inside the body, invade the mind and can be controlled over quantum transmission links (QTL). Once infected, the person becomes highly infectious and the nanomachines spread rapidly by touch or by breathing the air around them. The Yoyka use the nanomachine weapon to enslave other races for the purpose of providing materials and resources for building Yoyka warships, military forces and expanding the Yoykan Empire. The Yoyka plan to attack, capture and enslave all alien races within the galaxy if not stopped. The Qumru have two advantages the Yoyka are not fully aware of. First, the Qumru created sentient androids for providing security, military functions and other services for the people of Qum. They live on a separate planet called Holtu thirty light years away. Second, they possess an advanced scientific achievement called Onutu which can prolong their lives. These two advantages will decide the outcome of the devastating war with the Yoykan Empire. This is a Novella Prequel story that introduces several main characters in the Nanomachine War Series trilogy. Book 1 continues the saga of the first Qumru starship encounter with humans on Mars. Books 2 and 3 culminate in a space war with the Yoykan Empire to settle the question of whether or not the Yoyka will enslave the peoples of Qum, Holtu and Earth.

There are only nineteen of these large megalopolises left in the UAC, which is comprised of the former countries of Canada, United States, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Outside these megacities lie the Wilderness Areas where nature has finally been restored from global environmental disaster that nearly caused human extinction. It was not easy and it took thousands of sentient androids like Citizen Steven and Citizen Kendra to accomplish it. The year is 2199. It has been one hundred years since the remaining billion or so humans in the world have seen the light of day. They survived near extinction from the effects of climate change with the help of androids they created. The humans, called Primes, are still sleeping in millions of cryonic sleep chambers hidden in deep underground bunkers around the world waiting for the time when the world is healed enough to let them wake up. That time has arrived. During this time, the androids have become more human-like than even their creators had imagined. The androids live and work peacefully in the megacities and things are running smoothly until the militant humans that survived the Dark Years and live in the Wilderness Areas decide it’s time to take back control of the megacities and the country for themselves. Soon, the fighting with human militants in the Wilderness Areas escalates out of control and the whole country is at War. What looked so promising to the Primes upon waking up after one hundred years of cryosleep becomes a near nightmare as President Carlos tries to stop the war with the androids in the megacities and prepare for even bigger problems with the Primes now waking up across the seas in Eurasia. It seems creating the androids to fix the world’s environment to prevent human extinction is now the least of the Primes’ new problems.
The Guardians - Book 1 begins with an alien attack on Earth by a ruthless and merciless race of aliens called the Tyrax. They send a doomsday weapon that detonates multiple missile warheads over twenty-four sparsely inhabited land areas around the globe. The battle begins between the attacking aliens, Òmon and the human race to prevent all life on Earth as they know it from being erased forever. Anti-alien demonstrators learn the terrible secret of alien interference on our planet. It causes a mass riot that forces President Zora Madison to take extreme security measures to protect herself and others during this historic event. The Guardians - Book 2 continues the story about the human race fighting to survive another extinction event caused by an alien race known as the Tyrax. The Tyrax first tried to wipe the human race off the face of the planet by using a nanobiotechnology weapon to terraform Earth for their own unique DNA makeup. Earth survived with the help of a friendly alien race from Latar who sent a Guardian to watch over Earth five hundred years ago. His name is Òmon and he helps prepare the human race for the eventual invasion of the Tyrax and teaches humans how to fight back. In Book 2 the Tyrax have returned to finish the job with a large warship fleet and a new weapon they call the Destroyer. It is a large asteroid that will do more damage to the biosphere than the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs sixty-five million years ago. To prevent this new extinction event, Òmon returns with more Guardianships to defend Earth from the Tyrax attack. Brandon Cole, Mike Wolinsky, Lizzy Rollins, Paul Ballard, Manco Cusi, Amaru Tupac and all the other human recruits from centuries past join forces with the new 28th Space Strike Force to battle the Tyrax warships in the Asteroid Belt. The space battle is devastating to both sides and thousands of lives are lost in Earth’s desperate struggle for survival. The defenders do all they can to try and stop the asteroid from destroying Earth. Saving the human race, Earth and the solar system from Tyrax colonization is just the first step in the war with the Tyrax. This book defines 'nanowares' as the ideas and products arising out of nanotechnology. Koepsell argues that these rapidly developing new technologies demand a new approach to scientific discovery and innovation in our society. He takes established ideas from social philosophy and applies them to the nanoparticle world. In doing so he breaks down the subject into its elemental form and from there we are better able to understand how these elements fit into the construction of a more complex system of products, rules and regulations about these products.
