"You are such an inspiration to me and many. They may not tell you, but I enjoy your books and your Facebook post. I began my day reading your post for inspiration. I love you, Ann." --Tina Lee (Metairie, LA) "There are so many wonderful things to say about this beautiful woman of God; when you meet her, she impacts your life. I love just listening to her as she speaks. She's a #warrior and a mighty #evangelist, to say the least. I guess the best three words I have to describe her are #heart of gold. I love you, Antonette." --Sharah Solis (Detroit, MI) "I love your books. I love talking to you. I really appreciate your transparency. You are so open and honest. Not too many people like that. You talk with so much ease. I love talking and listening to you. So glad I know and can talk to a famous author such as yourself. --Sajon Ford (Taylor, Michigan) "Tu Tu are you worried about your Books? No Liam I am not worried about my Books. Tu Tu I love your Books. Awwh thank you Liam." --William David Sherman "Liam" 5 years old (Metarie, LA)
Little Red riding through the hood is a terrifying walk on a broad path of anger, resentment, incest, pedophilia, fornication, adultery, backstabbing, drugs and lust. The portrait of sweet Little Chicago girl turned notorious. Being devoured by a satanic force that tears her life apart. And being saved by an Almighty God who was with her from the beginning to the end of hell and back. He saved her from the demonic forces that lied waiting to corrupt and devour and kill her.

Readers of any age will love this eco-friendly tale, told from the point of view of a differently abled protagonist. At the end of the school year, an insensitive classmate picks on him during a state-wide exam. Peter has a tear-gushing meltdown in the middle of the test. After the incident, Peter’s parents send him to live with his no-nonsense grandmother on isolated Johnson Island for the summer. But something seems off. Peter discovers that the creatures featured in his favorite flicks are nothing compared to real-life monsters. Now, the weirdo must become the hero. If he doesn’t, Peter and his newfound friends will never save the island from sinister seed experiments gone very, very wrong!
I wrote this book aiming to wake up the conscience of the youth who had fallen prey in the jaws of a beast called La vida loca. It is world of fatal illusion scandalized by Holywood and rap music, giving the impression that you can achieve anything you have dreamt of without having to face the consequences that La vida loca leaves behind. This is the story of my life, as I was 28 years old and believed I had the world on my feet. I never imagined waking up from this fatal illusion in the dark city, La crcel, where I spent the last 28 years of my life. If, after reading this story, you still want to continue the journey of La vida loca, then you will surely end up in one of three destinations: The hospital, the prison and the cemetery Where would you want to go? At least God gave me the opportunity to live to tell it, the majority have left with their stories onto eternity.

In 1994, a thirteen-year-old honor student convinced her boyfriend to strangle her grandmother to prove his undying love, and then proceeded to hold her little sister hostage in this true story of murder and depravity.
Suffering a fall on the Island of Long Island Bahamas, the heroine forces herself to answer the question, What is my purpose in life? Fearing death, she questions wheatear God wants her or not. Guiding her on this journey are the likes of Alice in Wonderland , movie stars, and dead relatives. They force her into accepting her own mortality, even as she attends her own funeral. The story is told from her hospital bed by way of flashbacks. Among her flashbacks are visits to the Joe McCarthy and Apartheid era of the 1940-50 s. There is humor, beginning with Bobby Darin s Splish-Splash recording, to assisting the airline pilot in landing the plane, and tears as she relives her kidnapping and other childhood molestations. She discovers her own mechanisms of surviving.
Based on research that was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal, Healing Home is an exploration of the lives and health of young women experiencing homelessness. Vanessa Oliver employs an innovative methodology that blends sociology and storytelling practices to investigate these women’s access to health services, their understandings of health and health care delivery, and their health-seeking behaviours. Through their life stories, Oliver demonstrates how personal and social experiences shape health outcomes. In contrast to many previous studies that have focused on the deficits of these young people, Healing Home is both youth-centric and youth-positive in its approach: by foregrounding the narratives of the women themselves, Oliver empowers a sub-section of the population that traditionally has not had a voice in determining policies that shape their realities. Applying a strong, articulate, and systemic analysis to on-the-ground narratives, Oliver is able to offer fresh, incisive recommendations for health and social service providers with the potential to effect real-world change for this marginalized population.
A long time ago, back in the 1960s, a close friend asked me to go along with him to a book signing in Sausalito, California. I was introduced to the author. He was a recognizable and quite famous old man. He said, “Will you come and visit me in San Francisco sometime?” “Yes, I will,” I replied and didn’t think much about it. But within a few weeks my friend was asked by the old author to visit, and I was asked to go along. We greeted the old man, and he ushered us in. Then he turned to me and said, “Can I tell you things of your life? Experiences you’ve had and didn’t have and your destiny. I will record it and put it on reel to reel for you.” ”Of course,” I said, as I was very curious of what he might know about me. And so he talked about me and was very accurate. Then he took my hand and moved closer to me, close to my face. He said, “You have something to tell the world, the entire world. I don’t know what it is, but it is the entire world.” But all was forgotten for more than fifty years. A few weeks ago, Michael and I were talking about the old man. What if this was all destined – Michael’s gift of seeing in the spirit as Kirilian afterimage? My search for healing and search for God? Were we destined to be together? So we decided to ask! “Was the old man right? Was I destined to write this book and tell what has been revealed?” Michael touched my head and the touch revealed, YES. I asked out loud, “Who is the book for?”The touch revealed, THOSE WHO SEEK AND LOVE GOD, THE LOST WHO NEED HELP. And so each day, as I study scripture, I ask the questions, some about the future. There are some unanswered questions. The Lord Jesus gave these statements without my questioning: HEALING OF THE WOUNDED SPIRIT. SEVERE NUCLEAR ACCIDENT INDIA. LEARN SEED PROPAGATION. PREPARE. MY RETURN. REJOICE. The material from the touch is growing into the next book. The next book will probably be easier to write.
