William Moxley (d. 1831), "... the first six known children of Mrs. Delilah Moxley Eby, was born in Virginia, U.S. December 15, 1798. He moved with his mother and family to Waterloo County, Ontario in 1818," as did the other living children. The sixth child was "Benjamin B. Eby ... born to Mrs. Delilah Moxley and Daniel Eby. He was born in Waterloo County, Ontario, December 24, 1819.".

They were married 23 March 1837 in Marion Co., Indiana and were the parents of thirteen known children. Descendants lived primarily in Indiana.
William Frederick Strasser (1875-1953) was born in Wiesenbach, Germany, son of Johann Leonhard Strasser and Maria Barbara Reinhard. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1891 and settled in Washington D.C. He married Imogene Moxley (1872-1953) in Alexandria, Virginia in 1896. Moxley ancestry is traced to William Moxley (ca. 1610-ca. 1668), born in England. He married Ann Bush in England ca. 1635. He probably died in Westmorland County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Washington D. C., Maryland and elsewhere.
