Years have been complicated as a young adult with many tears from the constant heart wrenching truth of life. I created a collection of poems that described just how hard and painful those years were in explicit detail. It is now time to share this collection of poems. For this collection I continue the journey into adulthood. A lot of lessons were learned, and some events were repeated. All in all these poems are the next step of my life while finishing up my perspective toward things happening in my twenties.
It's not easy to express true pain, and suffering to others. Being a teenager and making your way up to young adult life has its share of obstacles. Along the way there are many lessons learned, and many deep feelings that don't have the needed closure. Understanding and acceptance is what can make everything better. These are a collection of poems that were written from the hardest memories of High School until the last year of college.
From the Garden of Eden, where blaming games originated and through that, our God has been misunderstood. This is the main theme of this book, that we see how God is viewed as the originator of our problems. In reality, He is there to protect and save us from all unrighteousness. The problem we have is that we do not exercise the patience to wait on God’s timing on whatever circumstances that we are challenged with. Therefore, we then apply human reasoning to our circumstances instead of viewing things in God’s perspective. To borrow my spiritual father Charles Stanley’s saying, we should obey God and leave all consequences to Him. If we learn to trust God and obey Him, even if it doesn’t seem favorable to our human reasoning, we are positioned to be successful. I have a strong confidence in the Lord that this book will open the eyes of people to see that God is a loving Father to all.
From the author of the Mongo Mysteries: The suspicious death of a friend leads the world’s most wanted criminal down a dark and dangerous path. There are very few people international assassin John “Chant” Sinclair trusts, and even fewer who know his secrets. When his friend, Roman magistrate Vito Biaggi, is violently killed, Chant knows that what Italian authorities are calling a random assault is anything but. With Chant’s help, Biaggi had been investigating an international cabal of businessmen who were funding terrorists. Only three weeks prior, he’d revealed the conspiracy’s existence and was on the brink of exposing its powerful players. But now Biaggi is dead, and Chant is determined to hunt down the ones responsible. His search exposes a shocking trail of corruption and death, ultimately leading Chant into a secretive world ruled by a madman, where he must face the only adversary he’s ever failed to defeat. Code of Blood is the 3rd book in the Chant Mysteries, but you may enjoy reading the series in any order.
