Ande1son, ea1nestly and logically urged the claims of the common schools on the Baptists of Ala bama, insisting that we did not utilize these associational meet ings for the benefit. J. S. Ford, Moderator; L. L. Lee, Clerk; Alfred Lawson, Treasurer. On motion, Brethren Keeble, White and Hogue, with Pastor and Deacons of Pine Flat church, appointed committee on preach mg. Brethren E. F. Baber and E. J. Forrester, from the Alabama, Brethren A. L. Blizard and W. N. Huckabee, from the Unity, and Brethren Caine and Setzler, from the Bethel Association, received as Corresponding Messengers, and invited to seats in our body.
