Excerpt from Minutes of the Forty-First Anniversary of the Cahaba Baptist Association: Held With the Uniontown Church, Perry County, Ala;; From the 14th to the 18th October, 1858 The delegates from the Churches, and visiting Ministers, and a'large number of Brethren, met with the Uniontown church, perry County, Ala, according to appointment, it being the Forty-first Anniversary 'ineetin'g of the Cahaba Baptist Association. The introductory discourse _was delivered by Elder W. C. Buck, from Matthew l6th chapter, the l, 2, and 3d verses: The Pharisees also with the Sadducees, came, and tempting, 'desired him that he Would shew them 2d: He answered and said unto them, when it'is be fair weather, for the sky is red. 3d. And in the morning, foul weather to-day for the sky is red and lowering. Oh ye hypocntes, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times.
