The premise of this book is to classify the book of Proverbs into fifty different categories, each suitable for meditation and instruction. Many proverbs could easily be classified into more than one category, but for this purpose they were placed in the category representing its primary emphasis. For these classifications, every chapter and verse of the book of Proverbs has been grouped - no proverb is repeated, and none are omitted. All were inspired by the Holy Spirit, predominately through the pen and personality of King Solomon. While there were other writers, for the purposes of this book, all writings are classified as proverbs of, or under the direction, approval and assemblage of the King himself.
A collection of thirty-one principles--each from a different chapter of Proverbs--which brings God into daily life, concentrating on such aspects as friendship, trust, virtue, and prayer
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight. — Psalm 19:14 Do you long to deepen your intimacy with the Lord? To find a sense of soul-steadying peace? To develop emotional strength? Then you will need to pause long enough to be still and know He is God. Trusted Pastor Robert Morgan leads us through a journey into biblical meditation, which, he says, is thinking Scripture—not just reading Scripture or studying Scripture or even thinking about Scripture—but thinking Scripture, contemplating, visualizing, and personifying the precious truths God has given us. The practice is as easy and portable as your brain, as available as your imagination, as near as your Bible, and the benefits are immediate. As you ponder, picture, and personalize God’s Word, you begin looking at life through His lens, viewing the world from His perspective. And as your thoughts become happier and holier and brighter, so do you.

Life Is Never Mainly About Love and Marriage. So Learn to Live and Date for More. Many of you grew up assuming that marriage would meet all of your needs and unlock God's purposes for you. But God has far more planned for you than your future marriage. Not Yet Married is not about waiting quietly in the corner of the world for God to bring you "the one," but about inspiring you to live and date for more now. If you follow Jesus, the search for a spouse is no longer a pursuit of the perfect person, but a pursuit of more of God. He will likely write a love story for you different than the one you would write for yourself, but that's because he loves you and knows how to write a better story. This book was written to help you find real hope, happiness, and purpose in your not-yet-married life.
Meditation is one of the highest forms of spiritual development. What you ponder, you will produce. What you produce, you and those around you will reproduce. We are not a product of our environment; our environment is a product of our thoughts. It is then wisdom to "on purpose" meditate on what and where we aspire to go. "The thoughts of the righteous are right," (Pr. 12:5a NKJV) It is said that the east wind is one of the most powerful. It serves a dual purpose: to drive out that which bears no value and causes pain, and usher in that which is in harmony with life in its supreme state. It was the east wind that made dry land for the children of Israel to be set free from their oppressor. It was the east wind that brought in the locust to destroy the crops of their enemy. It was the east wind that ushered in meat for God's people to eat in the wilderness. It was the east wind that destroyed the ships of Tarshish. Since creation man has always looked to the east for refuge and deliverance. the East Wind is still blowing today. As you turn each page of this riveting book of proverbs and meditations you will know that you are growing into a greater state of being according to who you were meant to be, an instrument of God.
