Excerpt from Manual, With Rules and Orders: For the Use of the General Assembly of the State of Rhode Island, 1895-1896 By the provisions of Chapter 67 of the General Laws, the State Board of Education is authorized to make appoint ments of suitable persons as State beneficiaries at the Rhode Island School of Design. This school is located on Waterman street, between North Main and Benefit streets, Providence. Applications are to be filed with the Secre tary of the Board, thomas B. Stockwell, Providence.
