I have composed the following collection of poetry for more than four decades. This is my second published book of verse. Once again, it has been inspired by people, places, and life episodes that have been a large part of my life. Writing has become a great passion for me, as it occupies such a large part of my life. In this book, I cover several darker subjects from the less popular side of life that I didn’t feature, in depth, in my first book. Working in downtown Denver for more than ten years, I encountered people that were struggling to just survive rather than actually living life. My goal, in compiling this collection, is to present a strong mix of poetic subjects. —Terry L. Rath
Volume 2 Aaron Jones began writing lyrical poetry in the late 1980s. He was inspired by his brother Eddies band to compose his poems in the form of songs. The title of this poetry collection, Lyrics in Search of Music , was inspired by the fact that Eddie could not write music to words already written. Jones hopes that by offering up his collection, at least one of his poems will have life breathed into itfinally pairing his poetry with the right music. This is his fondest dream. But Not If You Depart You say you have no reason to live But can you tell me why Why, you think, you have no more to give You have to give love to get love Thats what Im trying to tell you That love you are undeniably worthy of If you end it all now, it wont hurt you at all It will devastate all the hearts youve encountered Were the ones that get hurt after you fall Listen, your heart is broken Your feelings youre cloaking We can repair your heart But not if you But not if you But not if you depart

ADVANCED READERS REVIEWS *****As a musician, when I heard about Centofanti's latest book of lyrics via a friend, I immediately bought a copy and wow, what a marvellous collection of lyrics on so many vital subjects, like love, women, dreams, life matters, inner feelings...I will certainly ask the author for permission to write the music for the lyrics that reached me the most. *****When Amazon published this book, it grabbed my attention right away, from the impacting front cover to the vast number of lyrics (120) covering so many themes with so much love and care for us, readers, that I derived enormous pleasure from the quality of the musical poetry. *****In my personal view, all the precious lyrics in this book deserve the immediate attention of composers that could embrace the poetic concepts, giving them the music sounds most appropriate, in accordance with their own inspiration. *****I've read previous poetry books from Jorge Centofanti, which I thoroughly enjoyed, the majority of which have remained in my memory as a real treasure; for that reason I knew that ordering this new book would be a fascinating way of discovering another exploit of his talent. *****I admire many lyric writers, from Bob Dylan, John Denver, Paul Mc Cartney, John Lennon, Leonard Cohen...and I am now a devoted fan of this poet, unknown to me until now. ****I was given this book as a gift from close friends and I am very grateful for such a nice present, with so many beautiful, deep, passionate lyrics.
Aaron Jones began writing poetry in the late 1980s. He was inspired by his brother Eddie's band, Southern Acoustic, to compose his poems in the form of songs so they could be easily adapted to music. Aaron's series of poetry collections is entitled Lyrics in Search of Music due the fact that Eddie could not write music to words already written. Aaron's poetry covers a wide range of topics, from the ups and downs of love to taking one step at a time to get one's life back on track. He has created his poetry collection with the hope that at least one poem may have life breathed into it through the pairing of his lyrics with the right music. Each poem a lyrical feast waiting to be launched by the perfect melody. "A unique journey towards mankind's constant search for hope. It closely mirrors emotions that everyone experiences and can easily relate to .... The elements of great music lie within these pages waiting to be discovered!" -Maleah Bagwell, LMSW
I've been singing since probably the day I was born. Music was always my comfort and my joy and my way to release my sorrow. I had dreams of becoming a singer in my youth, but being an introvert or autistic or a Highly Sensitive Person (I'm not sure exactly which, if not all) I just couldn't muster the kind of courage it takes to get out onto a stage or into a recording studio. I envy those who can. And I admire them. They are magicians and sorceresses with the power to heal and thrill and amaze. It'd be a sad world without them. Anyway, I've written lots of song lyrics in my life. I thought I'd publish them here for your enjoyment. Some are good, some are not so good. But with the right music, they could be decent songs. Then I could bring a bit of my own magic to the world. I kind of fancy the idea of being a sorceress.

Volume 1 I know it's not that popular anymore; I know I may be shown the door, But I submit this book of poetry For the whole world to see. I am a very simple man; I try to do the best that I can. My skill level is not that high; I do what I do to get by. We all try to change the world; Sometimes we don't know where we're hurled. But wherever that place will be; No one can take these words away from me. We live in an age that is very fast-paced; We all need to slow down yes, the whole human race. If this book can help you change your mind, Then the rest of the world won't be far behind. Poems of love and hate, peace and war, and romance I would like to thank you in advance; Thank you for taking the time to read my words; My deepest wish is that they lift you up to fly with the birds. Aaron Jones was inspired to begin writing poetry through the influence of his brother's band. As the title of the collection suggests, his verse is set the form of song and is intended to be set to music.
Meet Nigel: digger of latrines, shoveler of poop, and the single greatest threat to all the humans, elves, dwarves, and halflings of Esteria. Desperate to escape from military school and return to his carefree life as the village no-goodnik, Nigel sees the king's declaration of war on the gorks as the perfect opportunity to flee, since he's pretty sure his latrine-digging skills aren't going to do much good on the front line. But his escape efforts have a habit of backfiring, and by the time he and his arch-frenemy are banished from the kingdom and sent on an impossible quest for a (probably bogus) magical artifact, the humans of Amerigorn find themselves longing for the good old days when they were merely being annihilated by Lord Smoron. The Dragon Squisher is a fantasy novel for teens that spoofs the tropes of the genre and will appeal to teens, young adults, and adults who love the humor of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. If this is the kind of book you've been searching for--and who hasn't?--look no further than Book One of the Nigel Chronicles: The Dragon Squisher. Funnier than Lord of the Rings! Shorter than Harry Potter! This coming of age fantasy novel is an epic fantasy treat for all fans of humorous fantasy.
