Evangelist Greg Laurie calls all Christians back to radical New Testament living in his latest offering, Let God Change Your Life. Imagine what it would have been like to be a follower of Jesus; first-century Christians walked away from their old lives just to be where He was. What they learned, sitting at His feet, was discipleship. And when His work on earth was done, first-century Christians took His words and example and spread out, teaching the gospel to everyone. The good news is that we, too, can participate in this lifestyle. Laurie drills it down in three simple ideas: get to know Jesus, follow His plan for discipleship, and use it to tell others what we know. Laurie’s tone is clear, direct, and biblical.
Shows readers how to connect with God in a two-way conversation that will satisfy the longing of their souls to know God and be loved by Him.
God has a more effective prayer life for you than you ever dreamed possible. Let this volume be your open door to wonderful answers to prayer. Here is your personal guide to a life of mighty prevailing prayer. Let this book speak to your heart, take you to your knees, and help you obtain prayer answers in difficult and resistant situations. Evangelist Leonard Ravenhill calls it an encyclopedia you will want to read and refer to again and again. The evangelical church is guilty of the sin of prayerlessness. Wesley Duewel has provided exactly what we need: a biblically sound exposition of prevailing prayer and practical suggestions for ways to prevail in prayer.

Those who are tired of chasing perfection only to come up empty will appreciate this down-to-earth guide for finding our joy in Jesus and being grateful fo life’s simple blessings. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 NKJV). All the devotional writings that are written in this book were given to me from God to write for every person who needs to read them. I truly believe with all my heart that every single word that God gave me to write was given to me to help, inspire, direct, guide, lead, and strengthen people who are facing difficult situations and to serve a specific purpose in their life. In my devotional writings, I might say things that a lot of people don’t agree with, or I might say a lot of things that people don’t like. But the fact of the matter is that every single word I write is given to me by God, not because people want to hear it but because people need to hear it. The truth of God’s Word is undeniable in every way, and only the truth of God’s Word will set you free in the end. So those who want everything sugarcoated to their satisfaction and according to their standards will keep them in denying the truth. As most of you know, I don’t sugarcoat anything, and I don’t tell people what they want to hear. I tell people what they need to hear based on the words God has given me. Is it easy to tell people what they don’t want to hear? Of course not, but when God commands me to write the words he gives me, I must obey him regardless if people are going to like it or not. The truth and only the truth of God’s words will set you free in the end. The devotionals that I write are 70 percent scripture context, 30 percent practical context, and 100 percent inspired by God. They are easy to relate to because a lot people are often dealing with tough circumstances or going through difficult situations. It’s often difficult to interpret and understand the actual meaning of a particular Bible verse. Each devotional that I write includes a Bible verse and a prayer. The Bible verse directly correlates with the devotional so that people can relate to the Bible verse and understand it. The prayer also directly relates to the devotional so that people can say the prayer and ask God for help. I believe that Daily Guidance from God is a great tool that will help people better understand real-life issues they are facing and how God can help them. The devotional will help guide people in a positive and biblical way to seek God. The purpose of Daily Guidance from God is to allow his guidance and direction to help people through their difficult circumstances and situations and to lead them down the correct path. When you allow God to be the center of your life, amazing things will happen that you will not even be able to imagine. Everyone has good days and bad days, but if you look to God for guidance in every situation you face, he will help you and guide you to make the right choices and decisions. I invite you to use this devotional to start your day with the positive words from God. I promise that when you read this devotional when you wake up, every day of your life will be brighter and your attitude will be more positive. My writings each day include three parts: a Bible verse, a devotional, and a prayer. “Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart” (Proverbs 7:3 NKJV).
When it was published in 1987, Letting God was the first book to explore the themes of the Twelve-Step programs within the context of Christian tradition. Now revised to emphasize its spiritual focus, and including an introduction presenting a monthly theme, each daily reading begins with a selection from the New Testament. These are followed by eloquent, thought-provoking meditations that reveal how the passages apply to Christian living today, and conclude with a brief prayer. This inspiring daily devotional strengthens and encourages the reader, providing sustenance for the sould and practical insights on everyday life.
Some Christians are called to go. Some Christians are called to stay. All Christians are called to live for Him and share God's love with others. But for those who are called to stay, what does working in the mission field look like when the field is in your own backyard? The Bible study is for Christian women who wish to better understand how they can be missionaries right where they live. No matter how busy they are or how ineffective they feel this Bible study will help women discover ways they could be - or already are - God's witnesses in their homes, churches, towns, and even to the end of the earth. Through modern-day vignettes, questions, and journal prompts, women will understand God's call for them to be missionaries right where they are.
