Inhabited by a diverse population of First Nations peoples, Métis, Scots, Upper and Lower Canadians, and Americans, and dominated by the commercial and governmental activities of the Hudson’s Bay Company, Red River – now Winnipeg – was a challenging settlement to oversee. This illuminating account presents the story of the unique legal and governmental system that attempted to do so and the mixed success it encountered, culminating in the 1869–70 Red River Rebellion and confederation with Canada in 1870. In Law, Life, and Government at Red River, Dale Gibson provides rich, revealing glimpses into the community, and its complex relations with the Hudson’s Bay: the colony’s owner, and primary employer. Volume 1 details the history of the settlement’s establishment, development, and ambivalent relationship with the legal and undemocratic, but gradually, grudgingly, slightly, more representitive, governmental institutions forming in the area, and the legal system’s evolving engagement with the Aboriginal population. A vivid look into early settler life, Law, Life, and Government at Red River offers insights into the political, commercial, and legal circumstances that unfolded during western expansion.
Comics, manga and anime can offer an interesting perspective from which to explore representations of the law in popular culture. This book offers a better understanding of the juridical subtexts of such cultural artefacts by bringing together scholars in legal theory and comparative and international law. While the contributions in the first part of the volume unpack the relationships between normative systems (law and morality above all) in graphic narratives by Marvel (Daredevil) and DC heroes (Batman), the second part of the volume looks at the role played by law and lawyers in different legal systems through case studies such as She Hulk. Finally, the last part focusses on the role of international law in the comic (multi)universe and in Japanese animation movies such as Porco rosso). This collection extends research into comics beyond Anglo-American culture, which is still hegemonic in this literature, and makes it possible to read the legal phenomena dealt with in the pop culture products analysed through a lens other than that of Anglo-American law.
Strategy is the main source of long-term growth for organizations, and if it is not successfully implemented, even if appropriate ones are adopted, the process is futile. The balanced scorecard which focuses on four aspects such as growth and learning, internal processes, customer, and financial is considered as a comprehensive framework for assessing performance and the progress of the strategy. Moreover, the data envelopment analysis is one of the best mathematical methods to compute the efficiency of organizations. The combination of these two techniques is a significant quantitative measurement with respect to the organization’s performance. However, in the real world, determinate and indeterminate information exists. Henceforth, the indeterminate issues are inescapable and must be considered in the performance evaluation. Neutrosophic number is a helpful tool for dealing with information that is indeterminate and incomplete.

Introduction to Develop Some Software Programs for dealing with Neutrosophic Sets is given in seventh paper. Paper eight is about to Soft Neutrosophic Ring and Soft Neutrosophic Field. In the next paper Rough Neutrosophic Sets are discussed.
