La siguiente investigación presenta una secuencia didáctica que se diseñó con la intención de cumplir el objetivo general de este proyecto “Formular una secuencia didáctica como propuesta para el fortalecimiento de la lectura y escritura en una estudiante con Síndrome de Down de cuarto grado de primaria de una institución educativa de carácter privado de la ciudad de Bucaramanga” por medio de un enfoque cualitativo, bajo el método de estudio de caso, desarrollado en cuatro momentos diferentes: preparativo, trabajo de campo, análisis de campo e informe final.La muestra de este proyecto fue una estudiante de cuarto grado de primaria con Síndrome de Down (SD) de una institución educativa privada. Durante todo el proceso investigativo se destacaron varios autores que brindaron información importante sobre la lectura, escritura y el fortalecimiento de estos procesos en una estudiante con esta discapacidad, obteniendo el diseño de una secuencia didáctica que buscará promover la competencia comunicativa de la estudiante a partir de sus conocimientos previos, porque en cada una de las actividades creadas tuve en cuenta sus intereses particulares y sus habilidades en la lectura y escritura.

Nancy Fraser and Participatory Parity provides a philosophical framework based on the work of Nancy Fraser, examining how her ideas can be used to analyse contemporary issues in higher education and reimagine higher education practices.
