Pitra Dosh is generally interpreted as the curse of ancestors. If Pitra Dosh is formed in your horoscope, it does not mean that your Pitras (Ancestors) are cursing you; it means that your Pitras are themselves cursed by virtue of their bad karmas. A part of this curse or karmic debt has been forwarded to you. Pitra Dosh is an inheritance of karmic debt of the family line and you have to accept it, whether or not you want to. This book features comprehensive details about various aspects related to the concept of Pitra Dosh. Vedic astrology is undoubtedly the oldest and most comprehensive faith of astrology among all such type of faiths practiced across the globe, and whereas some of these faiths have the depth and volume of a stream, some of a river, Vedic astrology is the ocean, which can provide resources to all these faiths and which can validate or invalidate any one of these faiths. I have personally studied and researched many of such faiths, like Numerology, Vaastu, etc., but none of them holds their ground without the support of Vedic astrology, and it is the faith that is the backbone or motherboard of all such faiths. This is what inspired me to make a carrier choice with the ocean itself, and now after years and years of this voyage, I can happily say that I made the right choice, many years back.
A retrograde planet may not change its functional nature in a horoscope, in most cases. Hence if a benefic planet goes retrograde in a horoscope, it may still give benefic results. Likewise, if a malefic planet goes retrograde in a horoscope, it may still give malefic results. When a planet goes retrograde, it may undergo some changes in its style of working, rather than in its nature of working. Due to such changes in its style of operation, retrograde Jupiter may produce results, which may be different than those given by forward moving Jupiter. This book deals with the placements of retrograde Jupiter in the 10th, 11th and 12th houses of horoscope. Benefic as well as malefic effects of retrograde Jupiter have been discussed in each one of these houses in different signs, along with relevant examples from horoscopes.
