IX, Fig.130], haben dagegen eine Anordnung der Plattchen der Papillen, die denen der Exemplare von Mauritius (2, Taf. IX, Fig. 136) entspricht, so da also bei unseren Tieren die Charaktere der von den beiden erw'ahnten Fundorten stammenden Tiere gemischt sind. Da beide von selenka als Lokalvariet'aten aufgefat werden, ist es wohl angebracht, diese ganz fallen zu lassen. Alle afrikanischen Tiere besitzen am Russel die charak teristischen braunen bis schwarzbraunen Halbbinden, die mit helleren abwechseln, auch ist der Korper eines Exemplars mit Vielen kleinen schwarzen Punkten bes'at, wie sie selenka bei Tieren von Mauritius gefunden hat.
