Agricultural sector plays a dominant role in the country s economy. The workers employed in agriculture form the pivot and it is realised that they constitute human resource. It is for the first time that the concept of human resource is applied in agriculture sector. Though scholars have highlighted different aspects of agricultural labour, studies treating them as human resource are practically non-existent.
