For as long as the idea of "miracles" has been in the public sphere, the conversation about them has been shaped exclusively by religious apologists and Christian leaders. The definitions for what a miracles are have been forged by the same men who fought hard to promote their own beliefs as fitting under that umbrella. It's time for a change. Enter John W. Loftus, an atheist author who has earned three master's degrees from Lincoln Christian Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Loftus, a former student of noted Christian apologist William Lane Craig, got some of the biggest names in the field to contribute to this book, which represents a critical analysis of the very idea of miracles. Incorporating his own thoughts along with those of noted academics, philosophers, and theologians, Loftus is able to properly define "miracle" and then show why there's no reason to believe such a thing even exists. Addressing every single issue that touches on miracles in a thorough and academic manner, this compilation represents the most extensive look at the phenomenon ever displayed through the lens of an ardent nonbeliever. If you've ever wondered exactly what a miracle is, or doubted whether they exist, then this book is for you.

THE PICNICKERS A BLANKET BENEDICTION MIRACLE DOWNS With the Picnickers, South Dakota born author, Floy Timmerman, began what grew to be a trilogy. In a pioneer saga of the Dakota Territory Hesseman family, the reader received an invitation to join the tables of a reunion where relatives merge information, piecing together events that shaped the fabric of their present-day family. The story chronicles Elizabeth, who with her one time circus performer husband Tabor, leaves verdant Iowa and migrate to the newly opened Rosebud reservation land in South Dakota. Readers became so emotionally involved with the eleven young Hessemans that A Blanket Benediction was written to lead one step forward and two steps back to the origin of an Indian blanket that had survived into the next generation. In A Blanket Benediction, Callie, daughter of the youngest Hesseman, Maureen, persists in following the blanket’s trail across Dakota and north into Canada. Clint, whose own ancestry designates him a dubious choice of traveling companion, devotedly supports her in unearthing the root of her mother’s curiosity. Roman, a Canadian Native American, gifts Callie with his endearing enlightenment and Friar Lucas, the last remaining monk in an abandoned monastery, latches onto the young couple’s potential for preserving his own hope and dream. Now Miracle Downs continues as Callie complements Clint in realizing his life-long ambition and tempts us all to fall in love with their challenging – yet gifted – special daughter.

From bestselling author Michael Gurian comes a spiritual thriller that will change the way you look at the world forever. The car crash that killed Jeffrey, a child of prophecy, was a dreadful tragedy. But for the twelve witnesses to this terrible moment it was an incident that set off a string of spiritual awakenings and inexplicable miracles that would forever transform their lives. For Beth Carey and the others, including a serial murderer who calls himself the Light Killer, the events of that late-summer evening pulled back the veil that separates life and death. Though all witnessed the same doorway of light open over the dying boy's body, only Beth will discover the invisible world that binds all human life together. As she evolves into the "new human" forecast centuries ago by St. Teresa of Avila, and as the Light Killer confronts inner storms of human evil, forty-eight hours of miracles reveal the poignant faces of human vulnerability, and the hidden face of God. Vivid, often breathtaking, The Miracle is part old-fashioned mystery, part new-age revelation. A fascinating and dramatic look at the subtle links between all life, it offers an answer to the greatest mystery of them all.
Miracle is three stories of dreams that I had over a series of times, Miracle was to be about the Grocery store that I work at In a certain town near Winston Salem North Carolina, however, when I spoke to the President of the company, I was told not to use the name of the store in the book, after a week of prayer, the name of the town changed, the theme of the book changed, and the name of the store changed, why was all of this needed? Because Miracle is about an event, that could happen, but it has not, at least, not yet.The full theme here is about Spiritual Revival and Spiritual Renewal, think of what life would look like, if, something like this were to actually happen.
Can you imagine living in a place, where you speak to someone that appears to be 55 years old, and then you find out that they are more like 135 years old? These are the kinds of things that goes on each and every single day in Miracle, the huge problem with this kind of place is the common idea that we need mean people in order to have a perfect world, really? Not by the rules of Miracle, now, in this book, I really get to have fun because there are a lot of things that will change as far as local, and National Leadership is concerned, but remember, this is a story based on dreams, none of it is true. The full measure of the story is awareness, and the kingdom of God is Love, if this is true, then why are there so many wars and rumors of war going on?
