Nicholas Schall (1709-1772) and his family immigrated from Bavaria, Germany (via Rotterdam) to land near Hecktown in what is now Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa and elsewhere.
Johann Jörg Riegel [George Rigel] (1718-1798) was born at Becherbach, a village near Kirn on the Nahe River, Germany, the son of Hans Henrich and Engela Caterina Buch Riegel. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1741 and settled in Nockamixon Township, Bucks County. He and his wife, Elizabeth, had a least eight children. He is buried in Nockamixon Township. His son, John Riegel [later Riggle] (1783-1847), and his wife, Sarah Shelter, had ten children, 1807-1828. The family lived at Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, until 1820 when they moved to Allegheny (now Gilpin) Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. John and Sarah Riggle are buried at Forks-Zion Lutheran Church, Armstrong County. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kansas, Texas, California and elsewhere.
Schneider and Graybill families (with various spellings) began to emigrate from the Palatinate as early as 1709. They arrived at Philadelphia, Kingston, New York, and Boston. Descendants and relatives settled in New York and Pennsylvania, but eventually scattered throughout the United States and into Canada.
Alexander Thomas Craig (1812-1867) was born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He married Esther Meyer (also Moyer) in 1836. In 1854 they moved to Marshall, Calhoun County, Michigan. Descendants and relatives lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Colorado and elsewhere.

Chiefly, a record of descendants of Michael Schall, who was born in the Palatinate of the Rhine, Germany in 1739. At the age of thirteen, with his parants, his sister and two older brothers, Michael emigrated to Pennsylvania on the ship Neptune, which departed from Rotterdam, Holland and arrived on 4 October 1752. Michael was the son of Nicholas Schall who was born on 26 May 1709. Nicholas died on 27 September 1772 at the age of 64 years, and was buried at Dryland Church, Hecktown, Lower Nazareth township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Michael married Anna Maria an unknown date. They moved several times and had seven children. MIchael Schall lived to be ninety-one years of age and died about 1830.

He immigrated to America from London, England aboard the ship named "Virginia" and arrived in Fredericksburg, Virginia 24 February 1774. Peter married Rosanna (surname unknown) ca. 1778. They lived in Harrison Co., Virginia and were the parents of ten known children. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, California and elsewhere.
