Emanuel (Mendal) Herzog was born in Hessloch (Rheinhessen), Germany and immigrated in 1845 to Girard, Ohio. He married Mary Hood and used the surname of Hartzell. He died in 1892. Includes Frank, Oppenheimer, Wolff and related families.
