Knox gives orders regarding the receipt and distribution of stores to Bryant, Deputy Commissary of Military Stores at the Springfield, Massachusetts Armory. The stores will be delivered by Daniel Parker & Co., contractors who provided the army with supplies under contract.
Informs Bryant that he will receive 7000 rations from army contractors to be issued in such Quantities upon Returns signed by Capt. Joseph Williams. Notes his receipt of the return of Ordnance and military Stores for February. Indicates he sent [Dollar sign]240 for Captain Bryant's pay for 1789 and [Dollar sign]480 for 1790.
