No matter how far you may have gone on your spiritual journey, the ultimate goal – God Consciousness – is reached only with the help of a living God-realised Master like Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda. That is why we have created this collection we call ‘Guruvakya Meditations’. In this case, the term ‘Guruvakya’ refers to a profound insight spoken or written by Paramahamsa Vishwananda, and each volume contains a wealth of these insights. The first in this series was 'Giridhari: The Uplifter of Hearts' which had 108 Guruvakyas. 'Guru: The Rarest Life Treasure' is the second in the series, and it contains 365 Guruvakyas, one for every day of the year, that are focused on the Guru. This book helps you discover who the Guru is and the dynamics of the Guru-disciple relationship that carries you towards the fulfilment of your life purpose. In fact, the whole series is about deepening your inner relationship with the Divine Source, whether known as the Guru or a spiritual Master, Krishna, Christ, God, or Divine Mother. Use a different Guruvakya each day as the focus for the five-minute 3-Step Guruvakya Meditation described inside, and you’ll quickly deepen your unique connection with the source of Divine Love, the indweller of your heart. Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda is an enlightened spiritual Master who has the unique ability to awaken the soul's inner Light and Love, helping us all advance more quickly toward God-Realisation. His mission and organisation, known as ‘Bhakti Marga’, gives everyone access to Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s timeless teachings of Divine Love and devotion to God, as well as provides opportunities to connect with others on the spiritual path. The Shreemad Bhagavad Gita is one of the most ancient scriptures in the world. It contains the direct word of God, spoken for all of mankind, irrespective of religion or tradition. Its philosophy and teachings are central to human life. It teaches us to live our daily lives in Divinity, as a service unto God and His creation. It achieves this by gifting us true knowledge, faith, devotion, surrender, detachment, and a release of expectations and ownership over one’s own actions. It comes as a stark contrast to the lives with which we have grown accustomed to leading. Today’s world is filled with constant desire for material wealth, sense pleasures, individualism and egoism. The Gita acts as a lighthouse on the shores of Vaikunta, guiding lost sailors at the sea of illusion to safety. But like any teaching, time and unqualified minds can distort it and misunderstand what is contained within. It is for that purpose that the Lord continuously takes birth on earth in the form of the Guru to revive the true essence of the Gita, to show the simplicity of the message of Bhagavan. One such Master is Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, and in this book, which is his personal commentary, we hold a treasure chest of spiritual insight.
JUST LOVE 3 is the third and final volume in a series of extraordinary spiritual books from an extraordinary spiritual Master. Although you may be familiar with the wisdom of the Holy Scriptures of both East and West, the concept of Love is described in this book in a refreshing new way. JUST LOVE is expressed by someone who knows about the all-pervading, life-sustaining force that forms the creation of the universe because He is completely one with it in every moment. Comprised of a collection of 62 talks given by Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda around the world, the simple yet profound message is clear: Love is all there is. Love is all you have to do. Just Love, and the rest will take care of itself.
The third and final volume of the ‘JUST LOVE: Questions & Answers’ series focuses particularly on that which has been the cause of more debate, discussion, mystery and curiosity than anything else in the history of mankind: God Himself. In addition, for the first time Paramahamsa Vishwananda gives answers to personal questions, describing details about His own life and experiences, as well as addressing questions about Mahavatar Babaji, the role of the Guru, religion, the meaning and purpose of Divine incarnations, and a deeper understanding about the mystical elements of spirituality and how that relates to our daily lives.
Have you ever noticed that, for the mind, questions never cease? Fortunately, this second volume in the ‘JUST LOVE: Questions & Answers’ series contains 200 answers to questions posed to Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda between 2010 and 2013. His answers here cover a wide variety of topics, but most of all, He describes how to handle the mind. Paramahamsa Vishwananda says that, on the spiritual path, the mind can either be our best friend or our worst enemy. That’s why this book focuses particularly on how to overcome the obstacles that the mind places between us and the goal of Life itself: Unconditional Divine Love. This is the only kind of love that will truly fulfill us, and Guruji’s wisdom, recommendations, and spiritual practices all help us to transcend the limits the mind imposes.
The Sri Hanuman Chalisa is considered one of the most popular Hindu devotional hymns, chanted daily by millions of people all over the world. Many chant these praises of the monkey god, Hanuman, to seek His protection, strength, help and assistance during their struggles. However, the deeper significance and value of knowing about Hanuman is that He is the ultimate model of Bhakti, humility and surrender, expressed even to this day through His selfless devotional service to Lord Rama. Fortunately, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda has provided a commentary which reveals the deeper meaning behind each of the forty verses of this beautiful hymn. Verse by verse, Paramahamsa Vishwananda guides us to understanding that, by cultivating devotion, humility and surrender, the inner gates to Divine Love are opened and we are finally able to reach the ultimate goal of life: to become devoted servants of this great Love.
Life today is filled with the continual challenge of having ‘enough’. Enough money, enough food, enough clothes; a good house, a good car, a good job. The struggle to provide for oneself and one’s family seems like it will never end. It is only natural that, for centuries, Maha Lakshmi has been worshipped in order to gain financial wealth. But those willing to look more deeply will find that She has much more to offer than just money and material things. The key is to develop a deeply personal relationship with Her. The question is, how? This book contains a selection of Maha Lakshmi’s mantras and prayers recommended by Paramahamsa Vishwananda to bring you closer to the heart of the Universal Mother, who is just waiting to bestow Her blessings upon you. Reading these mantras and prayers, chanting them, and meditating upon Her Divine Form are powerful ways to help you connect to Her, and the results can show up surprisingly fast. All you need is to devote some time to enjoying Her Presence with love, sincerity and faith.
What is religion? In the pure sense of the word, religion means to reconnect to God. Yet, in today’s world it is so rarely seen as that. Religion is seen as divisive, dogmatic, sometimes even primitive. But what is the cause of this? We see that humans and their ideas are most often the cause of unnecessary conflict, unnecessary division and unnecessary tension. At the core of both Christianity and Hinduism lie God’s words, recorded in their respective scriptures. Yet so often we struggle to truly understand them. Volume 1 of the Christ & Krishna set highlights and dives deep into the thematic of who God is, the Creation of the Universe, who are we and how to come closer to (or to attain) God. By using the quotes from the Bhagavad Gita, the Bhagavatam and the Bible, this book gives you the opportunity to rediscover the timeless purity and essence of Christianity and consequently drawing a comparative analysis to the world’s oldest religion, Hinduism. The reader is invited to look deeper and ‘out of the box’ of doctrines. In the depths of everyone is the same Truth, the same Love, the same Essence.
Divine Mother: The Way Back to Divinity is the third book of the Guruvakya Meditations series that is designed to help you deepen your inner relationship with the Divine Source, which you might know as Krishna, Christ, God, Guru, the spiritual Master, or, as is the focus of this book, the Divine Mother. In this volume, you’ll find 365 Guruvakyas for a new insight each day of the year. Use them for the five-minute 3-Step Guruvakya Meditation described inside, and you’ll quickly deepen your unique connection with the most loving of all divine forms, the Divine Mother. Let each insight warm your heart and let Her carry you back to divinity.
The Bhagavad Gītā recounts a profound dialogue between Arjuna, a conflicted warrior, and his humble charioteer, who is in fact the Lord Himself. The message Kṛṣṇa delivered on a battlefield more than 5000 years ago is just as relevant today because it awakens the soul to mankind’s true nature and reason for being. His instructions have stood the test of time and provide the knowledge to help us triumph over the obstacles we face in our lives. Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda’s commentary brings this timeless discourse to life, unravelling it and delivering it straight to the heart of the reader. It is rare when a book has the potential to become a lifelong companion for spiritual seekers, yet the Bhagavad Gītā Essentials is designed to be just that: an essential part of your life. Small enough to carry with you wherever you go, yet profound enough to carry you all the way to God; succinct enough to read in a matter of hours, yet deep enough to contemplate for decades to come.
