This publication describes Statistics Canada's survey activities and statistical programs. It will be useful to survey respondents and users of statistical output. The publication draws upon information supplied by the various divisions in the Agency and maintained by Standards Division in a database called the Statistical Data Documentation System. This second edition of the guide covers surveys and statistical programs undertaken in 1994. The outputs of most of these have been released during 1994 and 1995. The information provided includes the frequency, coverage, contents and products of the various programs. Also listed are surveys which will be undertaken in the near future. Most of Statistics Canada's surveys are ongoing, and more recent information about them and about new surveys may be obtained from the contact names provided in the guide.
