These songs are to give children the chance to thank God the Father in heaven and to give praises to the name of Jesus with songs as it is written in the King James version.(Matthew 1 l: 25-30, 18: l-4, 21: 15-16) (Psalm 32: 7, 11, 33: 1-22, 34: 1-4, 67: 3, 150: 1-6)
Every generation faces unique challenges. The first-century Church had Caesar’s lions and the Colosseum. And, while it might seem like an unlikely comparison, the challenge of living with popular culture may well be as serious as persecution was for the saints of old. Today we witness the tremendous power of pop culture to set the pace and priorities of our lives. We simply cannot afford to be indifferent about culture’s influence—nor can we escape it, glibly condemn it, or Christianize it. Cultural expert Ken Myers helps us to engage pop culture from a historical and experiential perspective so that we can live in it with wisdom and discernment.
While reading to Shaicah, when she was about two years of age (2006), it came to me that I should be pouring into her life every aspect: not just the entertaining part. She should grow up knowing that she is “fearfully and Wonderfully Made” (Psalms 139:14) and that there is a God and that He loves her. She should know that things around her didn’t accidentally happen: they were placed herby the All Knowing and The All Powerful God (Genesis Chapter 1). She needs to know that He loves her unconditionally, is ever present, ever faithful and that He has given angels charge over her (Matthew 4:6). I wanted her to know that she is never alone; she can always call the The Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Although I knew what I wanted for her, I did nothing but sit and think about it, never actually doing anything to accomplish the task. In February of 2009, I signed up for the Life Changing Institute, Inc. “How to Get Unstuck” given at Hallelujah Christian Fellowship. Dr. Yvonne M. Bennett, professional clinical counselor was our instructor. We were taught how to eliminate procrastination, overcome self-doubt and the fear of failure. I learned how to focus, to set and accomplish small goals first. Each class member was assigned an encourager. I am so grateful for my encourager, Cathie Gore. I received my certificate of completion on April 25, 2009 and set my text to the U.S. Copyright Office on May 5, 2009. Thank you so much: Dr. Yvonne M. Bennett, Cathie Gore, my ‘sister’ and cover designer, Yolanda Jefferson, Ms. Pearlie M. Bulle, co-illustrator and my niece and ‘My Partner’ , Shaicah. “I Love You So Much!” Auntie

Explains: why children's literature is a good resource for Christians where to find good stories how significant themes are adapted for different age levels how to evaluate stories how to use them Parents, teachers, and ministers will delight with children in this new approach to sharing, learning, teaching, and worship.
