Live intentionally and embrace abundant life! Imagine waking up every single day convinced that the twenty-four hours ahead of you are a precious gift to be used wisely. Now imagine that you know exactly how to spend them to be a force for God’s good. All too often we wander through life without appreciating the gift of every moment we’ve been given. The result? An unsatisfying life, missed opportunities to experience the joy of being in sync with God, and days marked with apathy instead of passion. Our time on earth is measured. We should want to make every moment count—not only because we aren’t guaranteed the next one, but also because this is exactly how our Savior spent His time here. How, then, do we walk out unwavering joy-filled faith every day, determined to let go of the things that keep us from experiencing abundant life and fulfilling the plans God has for us? The answers are found in following the footsteps of the One who lived fully, because He was determined that we might do the same. In this six-week study of Luke, we will follow the life and ministry of Jesus as we consider the choices He made on His way to the cross. We’ll intimately connect with a Savior who remained laser-focused on His mission to love the world. In return, we’ll receive a model for intentional living that we can replicate to ensure we are living each day to the fullest and making a difference for God’s kingdom. And together we’ll determine to embrace the abundant life we are promised in Jesus. The participant workbook includes five days of lessons for each week, combining study of Scripture with personal reflection, application, and prayer. It’s time to stop wandering and start living!
There is an appetite for God. And it can be awakened. I invite you to turn from the dulling effects of food and the dangers of idolatry, and to say with some simple fast: "This much, O God, I want you." Our appetites dictate the direction of our lives - whether it be the cravings of our stomachs, the passionate desire for possessions or power, or the longings of our spirits for God. But for the Christian, the hunger for anything besides God can be an arch-enemy. While our hunger for God - and Him alone - is the only thing that will bring victory. Do you have that hunger for Him? As John Piper puts it: "If we don't feel strong desires for the manifestation of the glory of God, it is not because you have drunk deeply and are satisfied. It is because we have nibbled so long at the table of the world. Our soul is stuffed with small things, and there is no room for the great." If we are full of what the world offers, then perhaps a fast might express, or even increase, our soul's appetite for God. Between the dangers of self-denial and self-indulgence is this path of pleasant pain called fasting. It is the path John Piper invites you to travel in this book. For when God is the supreme hunger of your heart, He will be supreme in everything. And when you are most satisfied in Him, He will be most glorified in you.
Prior to 2008 it was not even possible that Bill Vincent would have set down to write about Signs and Wonders. The reason being is that Bill didn't even believe in any manifested signs & wonders. Bill Vincent was a Pastor in Litchfield, IL and was invited to a David Herzog meeting. They said to him come on there will be gold dust in the meeting. Bill responded what is that for? Bill told them he wanted something tangible from God not some gold dust. Little did he know gold dust was definitely from God? You will either love it or hate it, but all of this book is backed up with the truth of scripture. Bill has experienced some of the most glorious times in God's Presence. Bill has seen and has been a Sign and Wonder. God has shown His awesome wonders to and through Bill so much that it seems like a dream. Whether it's gold dust, multi colored dust, gold flakes, gold nuggets, feathers, glory clouds, misting rain, gemstones, diamonds, mounted rings and more. God's Glory can manifest some of the most strange but real Signs. Bill has been told by some ministers that have experienced signs and wonders that we were blessed greatly to see all that we've seen. God moved more in this type of manifestations more when it was just a few people. Bill believes it is because of the unity we had. It takes pressing in unity together for God, that brings His Glory and releases His signs and wonders. We will have full color pictures of Signs and Wonders that have happened since 2008. We believe and hope you will to. In God's Glory anything can happen. God wanted Bill to say this here. You read this book expecting Signs and Wonders to happen and they will.
How a Presence-Centered Life Changes Everything Balancing Scripture and Spirit, pastor and professor Roger Helland shows pursuing God's presence isn't about seeking signs and wonders--it's about seeking God's kavod: His radiant glory, His manifest presence. Sorting through common fears and misunderstandings about God's presence, Helland offers biblical and practical teaching, to help you · pursue God's presence and holiness in everyday life, · live a presence-centered life at work, home and church, · enjoy a deeper biblical fullness of the Holy Spirit and · experience God's supernatural strength, vitality, renewal and joy. God's kavod changes everything. When you learn to seek, experience and host His presence, it will transform you--and the world. "Drink from the deep well of wisdom and grace as you read the pages of this book. . . . It will nourish the imaginations of the weary and saint alike."--TARA BETH LEACH, pastor, author "Will have every reader venturing into the depths of God with fresh wonder and joy. Highly recommend."--DANIEL GROTHE, associate senior pastor, New Life Church "Thoroughly grounded in Scripture, orthodox to the core and God breathed."--RT. REV. DR. TREVOR H. WALTERS, bishop, Anglican Network in Canada; mediator/retreat leader, Anglican Church in North America
Do you long for something more in your relationship with God? The good news is that “something more” does not mean “doing more.” God is not waiting for you to get your spiritual life “right.” He wants to be with you right where you are. The real question is not “What does God want from you?” but “What does God want for you?” Sharon Jaynes understands what it’s like to have a “glory ache”—a longing to experience God’s presence on a daily basis. She also knows how easily working for God can get in the way of intimacy with God. And she’s discovered that we tend to make our faith journey much too hard. In A Sudden Glory, Sharon uses Scripture and story to help you erase the line between your “spiritual life” and your “daily life” as you enter the sanctuary of God’s presence even in the middle of your busy, messy day. Here you will find your eyes opened to moments of sudden glory in which the Creator assures you of His love as you live and move and have your being in Him. Here you will discover true freedom—the freedom of experiencing God in a deeper and more intimate way than ever before. Includes Bible study and discussion guide.

The book of Exodus is a key to understanding the Bible. Without it, the Bible would lack three early scenes: deliverance, covenant and worship. Exodus provides the events and narrative, the themes and imagery foundational for understanding the story of Israel and of Jesus. You can read Exodus on your own, and its main themes will be clear enough. But an expert can sharpen your understanding and appreciation of its drama. Tremper Longman provides a box-seat guide to Exodus, discussing its historical backdrop, sketching out its literary context, and developing its principal themes, from Israel's deliverance from servitude to Pharaoh to its dedication to service to God. And, for Christians, he helps us view the book from the perspective of its fulfillment in Christ.
