This is the pilot color version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It has inferior art, a few typos, and a magniloquent preface. But in its defense it was my first effort of its kind - ever. So it is my first-born special needs baby and I love her much. The only reason I think anyone would want this pilot version is for speculation or investment, so I jacked the price. I also Diddit because I am unhappy with the print quality - you can look inside, its still very good but not as great as I wanted - so I figured to overprice it so no one will buy it. . . yet, people STILL buy copies. I guess that's alright as long as you understand what you're getting. It is very cool how Alice's dress begins yellow and ends blue, an effect you can only experience in color. . . so there is that. Eventually this pilot version will (definitely) be deleted and replaced with a more reasonably priced colour edition. Please come back if you want a color copy. Mistakes will be fixed, and visually inferior panels will be updated to color reflections of the B&W. But if you must have the color pilot version, this is your last chance to own it before it is gone.
Follow Alice as she again dives down the rabbit hole into a classical world of wonderful imagination. This special unabridged BLACK & WHITE graphic novel edition is produced to mark the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Alice and the White Rabbit ("I'm late!"), the Cheshire cat ("A grin without a cat!"), the March Hare, Mad Hatter and Dormouse (treacle and twinkle) and the impassioned Queen of Hearts ("Off with their head!"): all are characters who have remained enchanting to both children and adults for a century and a half, and now a visual age can enjoy this enduring classic. Twenty years in the making, this is the first word-for-word adaptation that incorporates illustrations reminiscent of Sir John Tenniel's classic Victorian woodcuts. The art is rich and lavish, filled with hidden pictures and visual easter eggs. The unique, fully illustrated design will delight even the most reluctant reader! Be it your first time to Wonderland or a return visit, join in this celebration of 150 years of Alice.
This is not a textbook nor an encyclopedia; rather, it is a collection of papers representing a variety of points of view on contemporary is sues, controversies, and questions about female sexual development. The editor has a point of view, not a point of view as to which of the various authors' positions presented in this book is correct, or even the most useful, but a point of view about the format of such a book; namely, that the definitive answers, and the experts who will provide them, are not yet identified. Therefore, many voices should be heard from different areas of expertise, training, experience, and back ground. Inevitably there are contradictions and disagreements. There should be. Several authors who were asked to provide short discus sions for papers found themselves unable to answer in less than an ad ditional paper. The editor welcomed this response. This is an area full of ancient myths, new discoveries, and alternate perspectives. It is hoped that the book reflects these ambiguities and controversies and that it will stimulate as many questions as it provides answers. You will find represented in this volume, and its forthcoming companion volume on women's sexual experience, authors not gener ally found together between the covers. When useful and where pos sible, a discussion or an addendum to a paper has been included by an author who approaches the subject from a different base of infor mation or experience.
