Geochemical soil sampling for copper and molybdenum over two granitic intrusive bodies in the Stemple Pass area of Lewis and Clark County, Montana, indicates the presence of disseminated mineral deposits within and adjacent to the granitic rocks. Although the economic importance of the deposits is not yet known, the sampling results do indicate an area worthy of further geological and geochemical investigation.
