What happens to our trash once the garbage truck hauls it away? What is a landfill, and why is it bad for Earth’s future? What happens to trash made from plastic, paper, and aluminum if we recycle it? And what can we do to follow the three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) more? Garbage Galore introduces young readers to the issue of how much garbage we produce and how it poses a problem for Earth today and in the future. It also gives students plenty of ideas for more sustainable ways to deal with trash and keep our world green and clean. Filled with information perfectly suited to the abilities and interests of an early elementary audience, this colorful, fact-filled volume includes grade-appropriate activities and experiments, critical-thinking questions, and fascinating fact boxes to keep the pace lively and interactive.
A child watching a garbage truck pick up the trash wonders where it goes, and the story follows two garbage bags as they travel to a transfer station and then to a landfill. Includes Recycle it Yourself activity and further resources.

Casey thinks that through a shift of perspective and positioning of heart we are able to live a life that is full of wonder and adventure in a relationship with a Heavenly Father. Instead of enduring our life, we enjoy it. Now, this enjoyable life might take many different shapes. It might look like mounting the back of a motorcycle driven by a stranger in Santorini. It might look like dyeing your eyebrows pink after losing a friendly game of What Are the Odds. It might look like taking a roadie across the South Island of New Zealand with one of your favorite friends. One thing is for sure, no matter your circumstance, this is only the beginning. There is so much more life to live. Lighthearted and silly, this collection of stories taken from CaseyaEUR(tm)s life has the power to bring more love and freedom into yours. The Beginning is only the beginning of CaseyaEUR(tm)s story. Join her in this honest and vulnerable reflection of life and love.

Buster is a sweet little garbage truck. He can't wait to grow up to be a big truck, just like his father. Buster practices driving and lifting and beeping with his friend, Kitty. There's one small problem. Loud noises frighten Buster. When his father takes him to the truck yard to meet the other vehicles, their air-horn blasts and roaring engines send Buster skidding away to hide. He wants to be big and brave, but how can he work with Daddy and his friends when their loud sounds scare him? Buster feels terrible. When Kitty gets into trouble, little Buster musters up his courage to save her.

Afoot and Delighthearted is a delightful book of poetry. The author, Dr. Samuel Whittemore Fowler, had a deep love of nature, spending many hours hiking on trails in his beloved woodlands. I have included in this book some of his other works, all of which are symphonic poems (mostly 14 lines to a stanza but occasionally there are some variations to this pattern): Song of the Quiet Outsider, Song of the Sunwet Seraphim, and Song of Euphoria. In Song of the Quiet Outsider, the author attempts to show his readers that we need sublimity, withdrawal, and transcendence in this fast-paced world in which we live. In Song of the Sunwet Seraphim, the author examines man's innate capacity for effort, the joyful exertion and the organizational disposition which produces vigorous work. In Song of Euphoria, the author puts into poetic images the joy of being alive. BIOGRAPHY Samuel W. Fowler was born November 30, 1934, in Washington, D.C. He trusted Christ as his Savior October 12, 1954. He received his Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary and was professor of Bible and Theology for 43 years in several Bible colleges. His unique teaching and preaching style reached many students who are now serving the Lord around the world. He also served as interim pastor and full-time pastor in several churches. Dr. Fowler's previous works Coping Strategies and Meditations on the Glory of God have been a blessing to many Christians. Although Dr. Fowler's expertise was in Bible and Theology, he also had a deep love of nature, which inspired him to become a poet. These books are a collection of his poetic works written while enjoying nature and communing with the Lord whom he loved. Dr. Fowler went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2008.
