Eternity's Handmaiden is a fast paced espionage thriller taking the reader from one end of the timeline to another. No one ever escapes The Agency. Tuesday, 6 August 2085 1500 Archangel Her frowned deepened as she erased the message and then all traces that it had even made it to her. It was what she had feared: a rendezvous. They would be by this afternoon to pick her up, take her away from her pristine Alaskan solitude and into a world that she had sworn off of. Or so she had thought. She quickly learned long ago, much to her dismay, that one ever left the agency. Its insidious fingers, like the very talons of death, were always there, ready at any moment to pounce and dig themselves in, dragging one back into a world of intrigue and treachery, death and foulness that filled her mouth with such a taste of shit that she almost gagged. When she had left fifteen years ago, after forty years of faithful service, she had made it clear that she was done with it all, finished with walking in the shadows and killing in the darkness. But they had had other plans.

A LIFE-CHANGING SPIRITUAL MASTERWORK ON GOD, HUMAN DESTINY, AND THE BIBLE A UNIQUE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY GUIDE When Time and Eternity Kiss is a boldly provocative and highly original new interpretation of the Bible--a page-turner for believers, seekers, skeptics, and secularists alike. By harmonizing the Bible with 21st c. quantum physics and the "Big Bang" theory, Maddox leads us into the labyrinth of God's mind. What are we? Where do we come from? Do we have a destiny? The Bible proclaims: "You are gods." What does that mean? Is there an objective reality or just the illusion of one, as Eastern spiritual traditions assert, quantum physics theorizes, and Einstein suggested? In When Time and Eternity Kiss, author Sean Maddox argues passionately that the Bible answers life's most perplexing questions. He supports his propositions by integrating wisdom and insight from mythologies, biblical Hebrew, Kabbalah, Hindu Chakras, Buddhism, psychology, archetypal symbolism, dream work, and quantum physics. His multidisciplinary perspective allows readers to see with new eyes how the Bible is the spiritual guide par excellence to the psycho-spiritual evolution of divine and human consciousness. INSPIRED, GROUNDBREAKING SCHOLARSHIP This revolutionary work is the culmination of the author's twenty-five-year journey of psycho-spiritual inquiry, study, and singular personal sacrifices. Maddox emerges as a daringly independent scholar and visionary who peers into the Bible's riveting mysteries and reveals God's Feminine Side in the texts. Aptly titled, When Time and Eternity Kiss is a passionate cosmic love story from start to finish. At the climax of the book, Maddox upends traditional interpretations as he illuminates the two Genesis Creation stories and shares his vision of why God shattered the silence of Eternity to create life in time and space. In radiant lucid prose, Maddox restores the Bible to 21st c. relevancy as the cornerstone of Western civilization.
"A most needed and creative beginning in theological prolegomena," says Norman L. Geisler of Handmaid to Theology. "In this work the long-neglected use of philosophy in evangelical theology is overcome." Philosophical Prolegomena does not in this case constitute an introduction to theology, preliminary material of which one must dispose before delving into the actual content of divine revelation. Instead it constitutes a handmaid to theology, the philosophical categories that necessarily help to shape each doctrine. In addition to demonstrating "the inevitable reliance of theology on certain philosophical concepts," the author pleads for a clear distinction between biblical theology and systematic theology within the evangelical tradition. "Particularly helpful . . ." says Geisler, "is the emphasis on the need to use biblically compatible concepts in order to construct a systematic theology." After two introductory chapters ("What Is Prolegomena?" and "Prolegomena: The Starting Point"), the author devotes two chapters to the doctrine of man, as many to the doctrine of revelation, three to the doctrine of God, and a final chapter to the doctrine of regeneration. "This book turns over new ground in theological prolegomena," concludes Geisler. "Its pace-setting insights could, and I hope will, signal a return to a proper harmony between philosophy and biblical theology in the practice of systematic theology among evangelicals.
The journals of this well known Catholic writer detail the graces that sustained her during a mid-life crisis. It was in the year 1977 that I first started saving my journal entries. The excerpts from the journals (1977-1995) describe special graces and reflections as I staggered through more decades of my life--years that included a bout with breast cancer, the death of my parents, the suicide of our beloved son, and the death of my dear husband in 1993. (Excerpt from introduction) Dr, Chervin's journals are insightful, inspiring and challenging.

"This work postulates that the set of 116 designs by William Blake, illustrated herein, is not a series of individual responses to the pieces of text they accompany, nor is it a series of responses to the individual poems of Thomas Gray. The designs are also more than illustrations, or corrections, of Gray's speakers or of Gray himself. In the Gray designs, Blake was using the opportunity given him by John and Ann Flaxman in 1797 to explore and explain visually the reformist malaise in the reactionary nineties when the general economic well-being and optimism had been replaced by the effects of war and fear. For Blake, the collapse into the later 1790s is the failure of the imaginative will to sustain the impetus that the American and French Revolutions had begun." "Blake saw several causes for this failure of will and created a set of designs rich in allusions and dense with visual conventions. These visual topoi are personal, topical, classical, biblical, and literary." "Thus, there is a need for a study of the Gray designs that sees them as they are: a unity rich with visual conventions partaking of Blake's revolutionary pattern of development and desire to reshape in specific ways the mind of his audience."--BOOK JACKET.Title Summary field provided by Blackwell North America, Inc. The debate over women preachers has raged for centuries, but the argument has not beenand probably will not beresolved. This book is not an addendum to that dispute. It is, however, an attempt to show some of the difficulties lady ministers have overcome to answer Gods call to proclaim His Word. The International Pentecostal Holiness Church, from its inception, has recognized women by admitting them to pulpits and allowing them to pastor churches. Lady ministers have also served successfully as evangelists and missionaries. However, the leadership of the denomination at a Solemn Assembly in 1996 acknowledged that the church had withheld from women places of honor and desired to release them to serve in leadership roles. Historically, women have gained ground only to lose it again, and even in our twenty-first century society, some still refuse to let Gods handmaids speak.
God makes us free to accept. Why does God let us do the things we do? Do you want freedom and be told how to live at the same time? Do you agree that most people mess up their lives because they feel they are no good? Gods grace helps us become real. Its a friendship between God and me (or you). As this friendship becomes more real, we can begin to see that we are built created by God for something infinite. This means we are built to last forever and to be forgiven when we do wrong. When someone loves us this much, we swallow our pride, we make a commitment and something happens that affects our whole life and those we come in contact with. - Jerry Crane [email protected] www.campgriesheim.com www.kogudus.org
